We had a couple of meals here and we enjoyed our food and drinks. The food was tasty and we were not disappointed with any of the dishes we ordered. The service was good and it was clean. The terrace facing the sea was a nice and comfortable place. WE repeated... which means that it was good! Good value and... More

Great food! Nice variety and Italian flavor mixed with Zanzibaran flavor. Enjoyed the Samoosas I ate there and the Crab Masala was great. We didn't stay at the lodge.

We ate here a few times on our trip. The food was a bit salty, but tasty and there was a fair amount of variety from day-to-day. Try the beans and chapatti. It is very simple, but extremely tasty!

Twisted Palms was a short walk down the beach from Robinson's Place, where we stayed, and we lunched there every day. Fresh catch of the day dictates the menu (get there early for lobster pasta). Fish, meat for those who must (when available) and... the crab. Would go back in a jiffy, just for the... crab.

Ate dinner here one night while staying further up the beach. Food was good. Nice candlelit dinner whilst drinking Serengeti's. my boyfriend had the crab which was huge! And very tasty. I have the crab masala rice which was very good too. Didn't want the meal to end. Would recommend to anyone coming to Bwejuu.

We stayed next door at the Evergreen, but this was the place to eat. The fresh crab was divine. It was so huge its legs spilled off the plate, and all for about 12000 Tsh (about $5 I think) The restaurant juts over the beach and is on stilts and offers great views down the beach. Their menu changes daily... More

After reading other reviews we stopped in at twisted palms for early dinner. Was so disappointed the hut was in desperate need of tlc, it lacked atmosphere, service was robotic and the beach was disgusting. Covered in litter and seaweed(I know this cant be helped but other places rake it up). The chicken masala with rice I ordered was served... More

We came across this place on a walk up the beach from our hotel - we liked it so much we came here twice. What I particularly liked was that the meals were served in a sort of covered deck on legs, which meant you were out of sight from people on the beach (it was Ramadan). The food was... More
