Positive first, the food , though very expensive , was very enjoyable, the servings were remarkably small. One waiter was amenable and the location was magnificent with views to match. We stayed the night in the Riverview suite. The verandah was dirty, the taps threatened to disconnect each time you used them, the shower head continually fell from the socket... More

We went to Cottage Point Inn with Sydney Seaplanes, and we had an amazing experience. Food was good, staff friendly and stunning view. Only thing we didn't like it, is that one of the staff said to us after our main that we had to wait for desert, and bring the desert of another couple that were with us in... More

Terrific Xmas lunch at arguably one of the best location's 45 mins from the city ! All 11 of us were fortunate to experience the degustation food and wine menu that was brilliantly constructed with combinations of wonderful seafood, beef and salad/vegetable courses. Desserts were equally creative ? The service was faultless the sommelier matched every course perfectly , cocktails... More

What a wonderful experience. We celebrated my husband's birthday here & were absolutely blown away by the wonderful experience. Arriving by seaplane, choosing the degustation menu & a brilliant sommelier, made for the perfect afternoon. The food was amazing and the staff were attentive without being in your face. Absolutely worth the money spent. Thank you for making a special... More

Prices way to steep for the food and services rendered.Wagu steak ?? was inedible. Two Scampi tails 38$.Waiters very keen to push the alcohol service in preference to food.Long wait to get any service. Two of the wines ordered were unavailable, one of the beers also.Very difficult and steep path to get to and from the restaurant.Lovely setting however the lunch dissapointed

It was the overall package that made it memorable. We arrived by Sydney Seaplanes and motored up to the jetty. We had an outdoor table that over looked the River with an abundance of activity. Three hours went extremely fast. The staff were numerous and very attentive without being over the top. Perfect for a special occasion. All staff were... More

Aboard the Riviera 45 FB 'The Kiss' for the week in Pittwater Wednesday lunch was a lay down misere for The Cottage Point Inn Restaurant and their berth in front. Perfect for the 45 and the Sydney Seaplane service from Rose Bay. Lunch from 12 till 3.30pm was relaxed, cheerful, effortless in delivery and disarmingly charming. Our table well positioned... More

This restaurant's prices are too high. The access is terrible down long steep steps;it's probably too hard for many disabled or elderly diners I'd say the portions were too small and not delicious as we had hoped. The service was about average. One waiter very good, the other a bit sullen. Reading earlier reviews attitude seems to have been a... More

We went to the Cottage Point Inn for our 25th anniversary as part of a seaplane experience and what an excellent way to celebrate. Arriving on the seaplane was amazing and then the food, service and setting could not be bettered.

There is no such thing as a free lunch. This restaurant proves the point. The view is amazing and the food is faultless. But the price is to match, especially the wines. Servings are tiny so your svelte figure will be damaged. Go prepared to sit, enjoy and pay accordingly.
