Great location and excellent food

This is simply a great setting for lunch and the food is exquisite. The chef is creative and sourced locally. The service was first class and overall could not fault our experience.

I went there for lunch a Sunday with my wife and two children. We got good and delicious food through out and the location of the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. But it's a mistake to serve a free of charge pre-desert consisting of molten blue cheese. Only myself liked it - nobody else in my family likes blue cheese. I... More

Been going here for many years. The new chef has taken the food to a new level. Impressive dishes with taste and creativity. Wine list has also improved. Setting is truly stunning especially on a sunny day. Expensive but worth it.

It was a lovely touch receiving a birthday email to enjoy a "2 for 1" degustation lunch. We enjoyed a lovely lunch on Friday and the food was yummy. Perhaps not as perfect as the first visit last December but that might be simply because the menu remained unchanged. I think it's so important for chefs to change their menu... More

The food here was superb. Absolutely flawless, beautiful presentation served by attentive and knowledgeable waiters. No issues at all BUT!... We booked to stay at the Inn overnight and planned to have dinner there. Imagine our surprise when told we were expected for lunch as per the booking. Dinner bookings stopped after Easter (BETTER READ THE FINE PRINT EH!)... We... More

We took friends from LA-USA for a meal. As we walked down the path to the restaurant they were blown away with the view, the peace (the serenity). Then the restaurant perched, overlooking the water, ready to swoop. We had downloaded the menu so knew pretty much what we were going to eat but as the courses arrived with some... More

I'd never arrived at a restaurant by seaplane before, so that was something special. So too was the meal and the location overlooking the river was wonderful. Everything we ate was good, especially the Cobia. Excellent advice on wine and friendly unassuming service. I just wished I didn't live so far away!

We take all our favourite Sydney visitors here - whether you order the degustation or the a la carte, you feel very special. Couple the service with the beautiful location, and this is always a delightful afternoon or evening out. I was further delighted when I ate there whilst pregnant: despite only informing them that I was pregnant when I... More

Absolutely amazing lunch, one of the best degustations we have ever had, complemented by outstanding wines and exceptional service from Jeffrey! A truly hatted experience, thank you.

Had the 7 course meal for my birthday. Great food. Stayed the night at great expense but it was a real disappointment to the evening. I wish we'd got a cab home! The room was really basic. Water in show warm at best. Outdoor view was supposed to be the river but you couldnt see much of it. You could... More
