Prices way to steep for the food and services rendered.Wagu steak ?? was inedible. Two Scampi tails 38$.Waiters very keen to push the alcohol service in preference to food.Long wait to get any service. Two of the wines ordered were unavailable, one of the beers also.Very difficult and steep path to get to and from the restaurant.Lovely setting however the lunch dissapointed

It was the overall package that made it memorable. We arrived by Sydney Seaplanes and motored up to the jetty. We had an outdoor table that over looked the River with an abundance of activity. Three hours went extremely fast. The staff were numerous and very attentive without being over the top. Perfect for a special occasion. All staff were... More

Aboard the Riviera 45 FB 'The Kiss' for the week in Pittwater Wednesday lunch was a lay down misere for The Cottage Point Inn Restaurant and their berth in front. Perfect for the 45 and the Sydney Seaplane service from Rose Bay. Lunch from 12 till 3.30pm was relaxed, cheerful, effortless in delivery and disarmingly charming. Our table well positioned... More

This restaurant's prices are too high. The access is terrible down long steep steps;it's probably too hard for many disabled or elderly diners I'd say the portions were too small and not delicious as we had hoped. The service was about average. One waiter very good, the other a bit sullen. Reading earlier reviews attitude seems to have been a... More

We went to the Cottage Point Inn for our 25th anniversary as part of a seaplane experience and what an excellent way to celebrate. Arriving on the seaplane was amazing and then the food, service and setting could not be bettered.

There is no such thing as a free lunch. This restaurant proves the point. The view is amazing and the food is faultless. But the price is to match, especially the wines. Servings are tiny so your svelte figure will be damaged. Go prepared to sit, enjoy and pay accordingly.

We loved this restaurant right on the water at Cottage Point. Classy restaurant with white table cloths, glass wrap-around walls and outdoor veranda dining. He had the Onglet Rossini with foie gras and I had the Cobia - perfectly char grilled. Both were amazing! The staff treats you like you are something special and there is even mozzie spray on... We booked a lunch at the Cottage Point Inn as part of a seaplane tour from Sydney (using sydneybyseaplane.com) and it could not have been better. The Hawkesbury River provides the perfect setting for this restaurant and we had a great view from the outdoor patio. The food was fantastic and so was the service. The service was attentive but... What a find, the food is excellent, the views to die for and the service impeccable. Do yourself a favour and make the trip. It is worth it. Best food we have had in ages.

Arrived at their dock via seaplane to receive a friendly welcome. A quiet Monday lunchtime with only 4 tables taken meant very attentive service. Food was top notch on all 7 courses and 2 amuse bouches were sent out by the chef. Difficult to choose a favourite, maybe the pumpkin soup amuse bouche or the pork belly on the savoury... More
