After you've had a swim or walk at the fabulous Bronte beach, this I believe is the best cafe to visit on the nearby Bronte Road. No silly morning dishes, just good thing like bacon and eggs on focaccia, etc. The Great Lattes. I had my first ever soy latte there ( my mistake ! - never say I'll have... More

I usually expect eating places in seaside resorts to be average and over-priced but this café has a wide choice of delicious, reasonably priced dishes. Breakfast is good and the salads are imaginative and tasty and included beautifully cooked meat. The service was good and it proved to be the perfect stop on the Coogie-Bondi walk.

I wish all cafés/restaurants would make it policy for the chef to wear hair nets. Very off putting to find a black and curly in your food. At least it was caught before first bite. Wasn't in the mood for the replacement.

Amazing food, always my hangout after a good swim at Bronte! BI love the Moroccan Eggs on the Winter menu and the Eggs Florentine on the Summer one. The lemon meringue tarts are to die for!

Offered us just the right blend of friendliness and efficiency to make sure that we will be back. A simple menu but of the sort where everything is good and there are no items there just to make it look impressive. Build your breakfast or go with the presets.

Had a nice quiet lunch at the Bogey Hole. The lentil burger was fine but nothing spectacular. I had a banana soy smoothie that was yummy. The menu is limited, but the experience isn't really about the food. Hang out, relax, then go for a walk on the beach. Heaven!

There is no better way to start the day than with a swim at the Bogey Hole at Bronte beach followed by a smooth coffee and Bircher muesli at the Bogey Hole cafe. The friendliness of the staff and the chit chat with the locals makes this a special place. The lentil burger is also a winner as are the... More

Just had a very average eating experience at Bogey Hole this afternoon. For starters there was very little choice of items on the menu. The Bogey Hole burger was very average and the pot of tea was as weak as dishwater. My toast was burnt, my goats cheese was not much bigger than a couple of dice and my tomato... More

We've passed by the Bogey Hole many, many times, and always thought that we would try it, but for some reason it always seemed to be shut - middle of the day, evening, whenever - or we were passing having just eaten elsewhere. Perhaps because of this, it seemed more alluring - interesting retro decor, a quite limited menu, apparently... More
