4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2014 NEW

Had brecky here a couple of times during our visit to Wanaka in first week of July 2014, and picked up coffee 2 or 3 other times. I was always impressed by the friendlieness of the staff and relaxed vibe. Tried a couple of other cafes, but the friendliness is what brought me back here. Coffee was good - but... More

Service was excellent, as was the food. They were more than happy to accommodate a solo traveller like myself. Definitly recommend the duck with mushroom quinoa and the beetroot infused salmon. Love this place so much I went back 4 out of my 5 nights!

We called in here as it was recommended by a local, we really enjoyed the atmosphere and coffees! The open fire was a draw card and the toilets were clean, the staff looked happy in their work, we will be calling in again soon on the way back to Queenstown when we might try the food (which looked very appealing... Stopped for breakfast before venturing out of Wanaka. We were seated straight away, and had the menus brought to us. Food was of a high standard and tasted great. Especially the Breakfast parfait!

Stopped there while visiting Wanaka during 3 days. After coming away unimpressed by most of the lakefront restaurants, we found this lovely café where we ate breakfast everyday. The staff is very friendly and the pastries are delicious. The cinnamon scrolls are excellent and you can spend some time waking up in a relaxed atmosphere while waiting for caffein to... More

Had dinner here one night upon recommendation of the B&B owner. It did not disappoint. We started off with the chicken liver pate with quince paste and entrees were the goat (yummy) and the evening's special, Monkfish, which was quite tasty. We are not big dessert fans but found the choices enticing enough to order. I highly recommend the cheesecake!!... More

Stopped here while driving through Wanaka, for breakfast. Nice looking place, friendly service and tasty food. Warm inside with the fire going. I had the fried eggs with cumin and lemon butter. Good coffee!

This my local! The staff are always pleasant and friendly. The food is fabulous and they make the best coffee in town using local roast Venus. I always take my clients here and I have never been disappointed. Cheers Relishes!

We're locals & haven't been here for a while for dinner. We were very impressed , a very nice menu and a nice change from usual Wanaka fare where everything is served with chips. We had the confit duck and the goat loin, both cooked beautifully with great flavours followed by a fantastic panacotta with local fruits and a red... More

It's difficult to find a good cafe in Wanaka or Queenstown. Good in the sense that food quality = fair price. Relishes Wanaka is no exception. What saves it from a "poor" rating is only that it's one of the better places in a bad lot. In Europe or North America it would have gone broke. The menu reads well,... More
