Simple, affordable, good food. I think this place is excellent for those categories! Best Indian food I've had in Wanaka.

I went here with my partner, we both eat Indian regularly and have both lived in India. The curries were cheap and good value for quantity. The gentlemen serving was very nice. The curry was terrible, tasted like it was out of a jar and was not authentic.

While this place is primarily for takeaways, they do have seating for 10-15. The food was tasty and inexpensive. Nice employees. If you are going to eat Indian in Wanaka, this is the place. BYO!

This is cheap by Wanaka standards. You can eat in or takeaway. The taste is quite authentic, however the beef vindaloo was no where as hot as it should be but still delicious. The curry is a big portion with a lot of meat and rice small portion by asian standards but you can always buy more rice or add... More

We recently ate at Sagun and liked it so much, that we ate there again 2 nights later. Fantastic value and I think the best tasting Indian food that we have had in Wanaka (we have eaten at 3 other Indian restaurants there whilst on other holidays). We think that Sagun's food is much better than The Spice Room which... More

Very good, cheap, quick currys and large portions. It is well worth a visit.

Happened upon it and gave it a try, and it was SO yummy! And so busy for a small, hidden place. Got the feeling it was VERY popular with the locals for a quick cheap meal or for takeout. We thought it was great!

Sagun is an eatcafe offering traditional Indian food. You go up to the counter and choose your dish, it gets dished up there and then and you take it to your table. Service is friendly and they offer a varied selection of curries. I had a veggie curry which was spicy and tasty; my husband had a lamb curry which... More
