Our baby had just turned 2 and we took her on a trip to Wanaka to celebrate the occasion. A inconsiderate Caucasian Female customer of theirs took offence to our barely 2 year old's tanty and left without ordering. The manager's response was really rude and insulting at this point he said "I will ask them to leave" by pointing... More

I visited this restaurant in 2012, the food was marvelous. I keep thinking of the good taste of their food. So this year i come back again. Oh, yes! You never fail me, I really enjoy my dinner here. If you happen to be in Wanaka, don't forget to have a try on their cooking, they are really good.

Super tasty food and friendly service. Ate here on Sunday night. The restaurant was quiet and we arrived at 9pm but the staff seemed happy to see us. Had such delicious curry. We definitely ate too much but had such a good meal. The Nann breads were delicious. The curry was nice and hot. Thank you Bombay palace staff. Great... More

We were in the mood for a curry but very disappointed by this restaurant. We ordered a spicy Chicken Jalfrazee, Chicken Kofma and a plain naan. The Jalfrazee had no spice and minimal flavour while the Korma tasted of butter, cream and cardamom. We had the Korma changed for the Chicken Saag but that was no better. Would not recommend... We were here @ Wanaka on Sunday. The town is very quiet and most of the shops were closed. Hardly seen any restaurant open. We were attracted by the aromatic curry smell yet we decided to eat some spicy curry in this cold evening. The restaurant is simple yet warm ambient. Greet by a friendly indian waiter. He is very... We went as a group of 9 and if was the better option for us compared to Spice club. The curry house is really relaxed, the menu is way cheaper and we felt really looked after. We bought a curry each, rice was free, nan breads, 2 bottles of wine and that came up to about $40 dollars each. The... More

Pretty good curry based on NZ experiences. Taster platter was very good...all yummy and great value. Tikka masala was also good (not amazing) but def yummy. Bhuna was average and peshwari naan was average. I would call this ok to good and I am fussy so to there this would be exactly as reviewed...very good! Probably better for a take... More

The best Indian I've had in New Zealand, they know about spice! Lamb rogan josh was an ain't with really tender lamb. Massive portions when you get take away, large rice. The staff wait on you like you're royalty. No faults what so ever
