Great mofongo

Really good shrimp and lobster mofongo. Other diners had the fish and it was very fresh. The crab bisque was very good also. Fast service and attentive staff. I highly recommend.

We were directed to this restaurant by 2 members of the service staff at our hotel and were not disappointed! This may be the finest restaurant on the island; lots of local citizens dining the night we were there. The wait staff is beyond gracious and the food was outstanding!! We did not make reservations, but it seems like a... More

I went to have dinner with a couple of friends that were staying at the resort El Conquistador. It is very close to the hotel, probably 2 minutes away. The place is very nice and the food was delicious! We had as an appetizer the calamari and it was great. For dinner I had a sea food salad and was... More

We ate here the night we arrived in Puerto Rico and we were tired and hungry. The service was great - they hurried out the kids' orders. Food was very good and though it has a fine dining look, this is a casual restaurant that was packed with natives and tourists.

On our short trip to el conquistador we visited this spot TWICE! On our first visit we had the sweetest server named Jacob l he recommended a couple of dishes and they were all GREAT, for lack of better words! On our second visit our server Juan Carlos was also very nice and also recommend dishes that were once again... More

I dunno, folks. It was okay and expensive. Not the worst meal I had while in Fajardo region, but not the best and not memorable. My father got the gumbo and was endlessly disappointed... it did not meet his definition of gumbo. Everyone in our large party sort of left sated, but not full or interested in returning. There was... More

Wow! This place lived up to all the rave reviews. Attentive, friendly service from pulling out and pushing in chairs and placing napkins in laps to explaining items on the menu to help us in making decisions on what to order. We ordered the beef alcapurrias and the piquillo peppers stuffed with shrimp as appetizers - delicious. For our entrees... More

This restaurant is awesome. The food is exquisite. My mofongo was delicious, everything we ordered was really good, the service was impeccable, but I can't stop thinking about the habichuelas guisadas (stewed beans) my kids had for dinner. I'm still trying to re-create them at home. Excellent piña colada. I went there on my birthday and had an awesome time,... More
