Lots of potential for this long standard family restaurant. They are an institution and that speaks well of the place. They fish their menu items and serve them up fresh as can be Wednesday through Sunday as I recall. Call ahead to be sure. On the up side its good cooking and the sides are truly puerto rican dishes well... More

The freshest seafood! Wait staff was awesome! Six days in Puerto Rico and this was by far the best! Too bad we found it the day before we left!!!

The restaurant came highly recommended by the couple we rented our condo from so we tried it. The best I can say about the service is that they provided us bug spray to ward of the mosquitos. Our waitor seemed to know little English and didn't seem willing to try and help us. Food was ok, nothing to get excited... More

I have been there twice in the past month. We found this place by chance after a six hour hike and walk in the escarpados of Cabezas. At the end of the expedition with Sierra Club we were starving and this was the first place we saw. What a nice surprise!! We specially loved their mango frappés and the coconut... More

Recommended to us by a local friend We ordered lobster, should have left when we saw they were already steamed... snapper was beautifully fresh but overcooked and dry. The big surprise were the are pas and tacos de carne and ice cold beers.

We were greeted by a now retired local, that invited us in. He told us about the family that runs the place. They brought out fresh caught fish and let us choose and showed us a fresh lobster. We bought both. The meal was awesome and the atmosphere was laid back. We were there for lunch. The local fishermen were... More

I hear on a daily basis, tourists requesting the best local food they can have in the Island. Now, you have to understand this is not a 5 star restaurant. This is as local as it gets. The "stray dogs" people keep mentioning on other reviews have always lived there and don't be fool by their sad faces as they... More

WOW! As the saying goes, "The fish is so fresh, it was swimming this morning". They must have come up with that one after eating in this place! The seafood was so amazingly fresh!!! We asked a local for a good place to eat and this was the place they recommended. The location is not that scenic, but if you're... More

This restaurant is about one thing: The Freshest Fish You Will Ever Eat. So don't order a hamburger, don't be tempted by the $3 tacos (hint: they aren' tacos, they are the fried meat bread sticks that are served all over PR), just ask what the catch of the day is, and they'll bring out a basket of fish so...
