We went after a long day at the beach. We had to wait a good bit just to order drinks so we went ahead and ordered our food. We had to wait even longer to get our food. No appetizers but was served salad with our meal . The bathrooms were clean and the food was just ok. We've eaten... More

At our arrival, nobody welcome us (party of 2), the food came after one hour or so, the lobster was not fresh, or at least, did not taste fresh, the fish filet was tender but tasteless. And after we paid the waiter did not thank us for visiting. Very bad service.

I'll start with this--we read on the door that the restaurant will be closed from 2 Dec 2013 until 31 Dec 2013--just a heads up! Came here based on a friend's recommendation (apparently just in time too!) 13 month old in tow. For families with little ones who might be reading this-- they have several high chairs but no fold... I evaluate a restaurant by the, cleanliness, quality of the food, price, parking availability, and the Menus, if I elect a lunch I expect it to be the common affordable creole cuisine, on the other hand if I elect from the carte, I expect the best quality, Seafood etc. This restaurant met all my expectations.

You can't see the ocean from here and you're its surrounded by houses, but this is a great place to eat seafood. I've been coming here for years. The current owner is the nephew of the former one. The food is still great and the tables and bathrooms are very very clean. This place might have only a few reviews... More

Went there a couple of times during my visits to PR. The seafood and fish are very fresh. Couldn't get "freshier" than that.

The Fish and the taste of food are the kings here. You will find fresh fish at an extraordinary middle to low budget. Service is good! Perhaps the only con is the parking site. You may find better decorations at other restaurants but you can bet for a great taste at La Estrella del Norte.

If you are for fresh seafood, specially fish this is the place. Its a family business, not fancy but very clean were you can taste fresh fish, lobster and local PR food. Its very cheap and their local desserts are great. Try the guava shells with white cheese. If going for dinner arrive early as the parking lot its limited.... More
