I had the chicharrones (fried chicken shaped round) my husband had the Grill Churrasco, that was really good, the sauce they give you, like an oil w/cilantro sauce it's sooo good. The Mad about Mango drink is great, and the Tres Leches dessert was very good, too.

This is a bar near the pool area at the El Conquistador Resort. The food was fine here, nothing special and was expensive but not too outrageous.

We had the little shredded meat appetizers, like a Caribbean dish called ropa vieja, which was very good. Also the seafood salad in a formed "dish" sort of like what a taco salad comes in, also very good. Expensive, but what the heck, you're on Vacay.

The service was amazingly slow and the food was below average. The only good thing about it was the outdoor seating near the pool. Our kids were at the dive-in movie for a portion of the time. I wouldn't really call the pizza pizza. It was more like cheese on a cracker.

Have eaten there three times, two times were great, once was disappointing. The fried cheese appetizer is outstanding as is the beef in plantain cups appetizer. However, the waiter recommended the Cubano sandwich which was probably the worst Cubano sandwich ever, BBQ pork with digonaise with no pickles was arguably the least authentic Cubano I've ever had, simple horrible.

What a view! We sat on the terrace, under an umbrella, and watched the pool area and how everyone was just having a good time. And the ocean view! Oh, and the food was good, too. A bit pricey, but the ambience was so good.

The pizza here was very good, and was a very large meal for one, or a reasonable meal for two. Considering it's around $12-16, that's not too bad.
