Pleasantly surprised

We were staying at this resort, on the marina side. we visited this restaurant twice. I had the dorado which was very good. My husband had the scallops, which were also very good. They had reasonable priced wine bottles. Service was friendly.

Waited over an hour to recieve food. Said there would be a $5 upcharge for swapping out mashed potatoes and veggies for plain pasta for my 11 year old. Over priced food and not worth the wait. Try a place outside of resort for better service and food. Huge disappointment!

The Chilean seabass was excellent while the grilled grouper was dry and bland. Ordered the seafood soup at $14 which only contained about 5 small bites at fish. It did not contain any other seafood. Desert soufflés were very good. Wine selection nice as well. Overall, we spent $200 for 2 adults and 1 kid was not worth it.

hotel restaurants are typically vertices and underwhelming. Okay, so this wasn't cheap but you know when you are in a hotel on the edge of an island with now where to go it's going to cost. What was unexpected was the quality of the food and the service. We ordered a Walnut and Pear salad to share - which they... More

the setting is very nice eating outside was very comfortable and the wait staff was on top of things. Menu prices were off the chart bad for compatible items at the restaurants outside of the resort. Now that I know that a few minute drive leads you to at least four restaurants that are better from a food quality and... More

The restaurant has both inside and outside dining options. While the outside is beautiful on the marina, we chose a table on the inside and loved the ambiance; elegant yet simple decor. Two of us got the Sea Bass with lobster risotto and one got the Salmon. The food was outstanding! I can speak for the sea bass in particular... More

Good seafood but a little expensive since it is at the resort. The chilean sea bass served with lobster risotto was $39 and very delicious.

Sat outside overlooking the marina. Our server Yadisha was lovely and so eager to please. I ordered the salad with pears and Gorgonzola and it was okay. I then had the seared dorado with yuca al mojo. Portion was small, fish was good, but yuca was cold. I wasn't sure if it was suppose to be cold, so I asked... More

The Stingray Cafe is located in the Marina near where the Palomino Island Ferry departs and it is fun riding the Cable Cars up and down between the El Conquistador Resort and the Marina level. The food is good, service was spot on and the decor was inviting.

Everything from start to finish was excellent. Atmosphere, service, menu selection, food, all excellent. Kids can order 1/2 portion of anything from the menu. Prices are high but you do get an excellent product. Dessert was excellent as well. You'll be hard pressed to find a better place for dinner in fajardo but expect to pay $80-$100 pp
