Best at El Conquistador

For dinner at the resort this was the closest thing to local. We enjoyed our Sesame Tuna and the swordfish but it felt like what you might have at any higher end seafood place. We were a bit disappointed with the lack of true local flavor. However, everything was delicious and the service was... read more

Service and food were both excellent. My 12 year old son fell in love with the lobster. Originally, my steak was over cooked but they immediately replaced the steak and brought an amazing desert. Our waiter was the best we experienced in Puerto Rico.

The absolute best ceviche in Puerto Rico and it's a joy to sit outside. One of my best meals in Puerto Rico.

The food was tremendous and our server was top notch. My wife actually got sick (from something other than the food) and couldn't finish her meal. They made an adjustment on the bill without us having to ask (we wouldn't have asked). That is wonderful service and appreciation for the customer!

We had to take the functionare down to the Marina to dine at Stingray. We were celebrating our anniversary so I splurged on a lobster tail. The best restaurant we ate at in our 16 day trip to Puerto Rico. The ladies restroom is a walk from the restaurant.

Appetizers were excellent with the pumpkin soup being thick and very good. My salad was a bit warm and a little soggy but overall ok. Entrees were both bad. I has the tuna done rare which I have had hundreds of times. This was one of the worst pieces of tuna I have ever had - dry all the way... More

Sea food was average at best and pricy. Service was poor. The fish was bland and mushy, poorly seasoned, poorly cooked and just bad all the way around. Don't bother but do eat at the Chop house on property!

We ate at the Stingray Cafe twice during our stay at the El Conquistador. Both meals were very good but what stood out the most was the service. On a laid back island like Puerto Rico the service was quick without being overwhelming, it was correct and efficient, friendly and informative. I would recommend the Grilled Filet Mignon, Roasted Bacon... More

BOTH The staff and food were to die for !!!!!..... Sea Bass served with Risotto in a Lobster Beaur Blanc. This will night disappoint. Enjoy a stroll at the marina before or after dinner or grab an after dinner drink at the Marina bar while staying at the El conquistador.
