10 out of ten!

I've been in Puerto Rico for 5 months. Wish I found this place long ago. I've drove by it a couple times not knowing it was hiding such wonderful things. Excellent staff. Knowledgeable bar back on wine spirits etc. I had a pulled pork(pocket like small calizone) tons of flaver. Also shark kabab. I... read more

We, at La Estacion, were not the cause of your husband’s illness. It is a scientific impossibility to contract a foodborne illness immediately (i.e. within 30 minutes) of consumption. Bacteria requires a minimum of 2 hours to effect the body and sometimes symptoms may not occur for more than two weeks after consumption of a contaminated meal. Even though you... More

La Estacion, restaurant with pretty good food, stuff is polite and quite nice and they actually know menu very well and can give you good advise. Atmosphere is not my cup of tea but its not bad as well. So if you are in Fajardo and looking place for dinner then this is quite good choice!

Make reservations or be prepared to wait! I think there was an hour wait the night we went at around 9 pm. Fortunately there were seats in the bar and we didn't have to wait as long. The portions are pretty big and the food is delicious. Our waiter was also pretty entertaining, which always makes the experience better.

I really wanted to LOVE this place. We heard so many great things about it and my friends and I were eager to try it. La Estacion is a renovated gas station with an eclectic decor with a local vibe. It's the kind of restaurant that you picture in your mind of what a local, island establishment would be. The... More

Excellent food. Impeccable food. You won't regret it. Be sure to ask the waitress what the catch of the day is, they're menu boasts the freshest fish around and therefore changes nightly. (And I am one hard critic.)

We loved our visit to La Estacion. The atmosphere was really fun and the portions very large. Bbq pork ribs were fantastic and the seafood mofongo excellent. The chef and his wife were very nice. The service was excellent.

When Calizo was closed (even though we had a reservation), we stumbled upon this restaurant just down the road. It was a popular place, so we waited at the bar for our table. (Bar is cash only, but you can pay with credit cards at the table.) My Caribbean lobster was delicious. They had local craft beers. My husband's mofongo... More
