Two things here: one, the bread. Dense, flavor filled pockets of manna from the heavens above! Secondly, the grilled red snapper. GET IT. Was absolutely fantastic. Wife said it was the best she's ever had (and it even probably made my top five!). Highly recommend!

We dined here for my daughter's 13th birthday and had a great barbecue meal!! All the food is grown locally so the menu changes often. Started out with the sangria of the day which was star fruit and mango. Very good!!!! the barmaid Maybelline helped us out with our birthday celebration. The premise of this place is an old gas... It is called "La Estacion" since it was once a gas station. Now it is a popular and very well managed restaurant near the entrance to El Conquistador. The food is very local (fried red snapper, mafungo, etc) and extremely tasty. I brought my family of 3 college kids and my wife there and all raved about the food and... More

If you are in Fajardo you must eat at La Estacion. My wife and I had the grilled shrimp and also grilled Chorizzo for appetizers . Served on skewers with vegetables they were both fantastic. The shrimp was served with a large Tostone that was perfectly cooked and served with a delicious homemade dipping sauce . For dinner we both... More

Dinner took quite a while but was worth it. Not expensive at all and the waiter was very cordial. Definitely be back!

The closest restaurant to el conquistador hotel, one of the hotel employees referred us, plates are between $25 and $40 (I believe), with a family of 4, between food and drinks we spent on average $200 a night. Expensive because it's so close to the hotel, I'm pretty sure if you drive a few blocks down, you'll find food for... More

Our favorite dinner in Puerto Rico was at La Estacion. It's just off the property of El Con on the main road. It had a Boho vibe, play area outside for kids with a tire swing, etc. There was also a bar, so wait wasn't too bad! Food was all local and delicious. They ask for cash if possible bc... More

The food was very good, the wait staff was attentive and prices about what we expected. If it is rainy, seating is tricky.

When my Other 1/2 and I visited PR for the Christmas-New Years holidays, he had already done much research. I CANNOT stress sufficiently how UTTERLY amazing the food, service, owners and staff were. We went as soon as we arrived Xmas Eve and ended up returning an additional 2 times (incl. New Years Eve). Food: out of this world; staff:... More
