Good but a little expensive

The previous night we had an outstanding meal at a restaurant close by. So perhaps our expectations were too high. The service and the food were very good. The wine quite expensive. The asparagus starter was really excellent. The beef fillet and the lamb were very good although the vegetables that... read more

Very fresh , esquisit and nicely cooked.Corsica wine suggested by the lady was very good, the sweets were excellent; opera cake and pear with dark chocolate and ice cream.Good coffee, several kind of breads ,all very... We were lucky in the beginning of March to find a nice restaurant open in the port area of Bonifacio. In fact most were working their socks off to get their shops and restaurants up and running by March 15th - is that D day? Le Voilier did in fact open for lunch and dinner. We chose to eat in... The restaurant could be expensive but red wine should be 15-18 Celsius ( not 5 ) and risotto should be al dente and not doughy. One hour to get the meal is a little bit to much.

We saw the restaurant in a french Tv show on Corsica and we decided to try it. The service and the location are excellent. The food is very good and the chef is a master in cooking , especially fish. I had a mediterranean tuna shasimi style and shell fish linguini while my wife got declinaison cepes and sea bass... More

Went here by recommendation as one of the best restaurant in Bonifacio. Langoustine was prepared in a local manner and had a fantastic taste. Local white wine on the list was surprisingly good. Service was charming. It sits on the water and while eating you could enjoy yachts coming in and out to the berth.

Nice restaurant with excellent cuisine on the yacht Harbour of Bonifacio. Decent prices, especially fish, with catch of the day. Terasse seating with vieuw on the Harbour. To be finishhed with a deink in the B52.

Four of us dined here, and we all rated it exceptional value for its category in Michelin. There are many waterfront restaurants and differentiating was difficult, we had tried other restaurants in Bonafacio on previous nights and were disappointed . The menu read, classically modern. The staff were very accommodating and the food thoughtfully prepared, fresh, beautifully presented, and most importantly delicious.... More

During the Easter holiday we enjoyed a wonderful holiday in Corsica. Bonifacio is a small port with fortifications built by Vauban. The little town has two medieval churches and from the citadel you have an amazing view. We had lunch on the quays of the little harbour in a restaurant called “Le Voilier”. We had a grilled rock lobster which... More

Service a bit laconic though professional, eating sea-food we had to ask for finger rinse towel. Calamare in soupion risotto, was unchewable! Which for a Gault & Millau restaurant pretty poor. Vine peach sorbet bordered on the Divine! Either not enough seasoning, or too much salt!
