A place the locals go when they want to treat themselves. This is kind of a cake shop that sells meals as well. Its not in the centre of town but worth hunting down for a good meal and a great cake. Cheap and cheerful with good service. Lucky there is a pretty extensive menu as you may need a second... More

Had a private party at La Preciosa, had good food, fast and good service, spacious for 100 person, clean, courteous staff and most of all, it's affordable!!

So we've been told that every visit to Laoag should include a trip to La Preciosa and this could be the reason why their food is pricier than the other restaurants we've tried in the city but for the money you pay, the food you get is not worth the price. The servings are tiny! If you're really hungry you'd... More

I took lunch here today and to begin with everything was fine. Polite yet inexperienced staff tended to my order, a/c kept me cool and i found the building interesting. I ordered the ribs and once i got through the tender meat on the outside, to my horror i discovered the centre to be cold, not far off frozen in... More

Another Northern staple, this restaurant has been a mainstay for quite some time now. Now this place offers a variety of food, from scrumptious looking cakes to authentic Ilokano fare. The food has its merits. Particularly enjoyed the Utong Salad. But the thing I enjoyed most about this place was when I was able to dine during a weekend. They... More

Went there a week ago, seems to be very popular. The building is nice, fits the old, traditional Ilocano ambience. Lighting is good outside, but they could have done the same at the dining area: lights too bright. Food is good, but I was not overly impressed. Portion is a bit small considering the price and the cost of food... More

We dine on this restaurant to try ilocano cuisine, and as expected the food is so good i enjoyed the poqui poqui, the fried dinuguan you should never really missed and the carrot cake for dessert. The price is so reasonable. I would love to come back again.

We had a late lunch there after arriving in Laoag and found the food to be excellent. Order the carrot cake for dessert. It was the highlight of our meal!

I would have rated La Preciosa as a 5 if it was based on food alone. We both loved our meals and were really impressed with the quality, but it took over 45 minutes to come to our table. When it arrived it wasn't as hot as I would have liked. The pace of service didn't match the high prices... More

La Preciosa is must place to eat in Laoag! It was an old house converted to a restaurant. The food is really good. Take note that I am very picky when it comes to food. In fact the food that was ordered are not really to my liking. We ordered bulalo, poqui-poqui and dinuguan bagnet. I know I will only... More
