Great food at normal prices. Fresh seafood, good cocktails, lovely currys. They take good care of you, nice little dessert at the end, present for lady customer. In front of Amara hotel.
We ate here 3 nights and if you want perfectly cooked seafood, look no further. Grilled whole red snapper, grilled slices (barracuda and tuna) as well as french fries and fried rice were all superbly prepared in spite of power outages in the evening (one due to a storm). the seafood there were great. I went there for lunch and even took take away for my dinner from Two Brothers Restaurant. The lady there was so friendly and she even gave us a bracelet made of seashells as presents. Definitely have to try their Grilled squid, the Crab Masala and the fried bananas. AWESOME food.
Just opposite Amata Resort, this is a great little restaurant. Friendly service too. Particularly excellent seafood. Well worth going to!
Whilst staying at Bayview Hotel we we recommended this restaurant by a German couple on their third stay at Ngapali. It is situated across the road from the Amata resort, so is a short taxi or Tuk Tuk ride from any of the resorts. Great fresh seafood, excellent service, great cocktails. We would recommend the coconut seafood curry, grilled prawns,... More
Recommended by our guide this is well worth a visit. Typical Ngapali Beach restaurant but family run. We had grilled king prawn and what was meant to be spicy prawn, the king prawns were very fresh, the spicy prawns weren't as spicy as we would like, but that's generally the case in Myanmar. The owner operates boat trips as well,... More
We ate here on 3 occasions and had 3 excellent meals. Each was tasty, well presented and fairly priced. The service was friendly and efficient and the location is perfect for those staying at the Amata. it was full everytime that we ate here and had a very nice atmosphere. Actually licking my lips as I write this!
We had 3 wonderful meals here. Fresh fish, nice service, even a fun tour to meet the cows and chickens behind the restaurant. Would return in a heartbeat!
Not awful but underwhelming. Service was indifferent (and they weren't busy) and the food was ok. You can surely do better on this strip. Also try some of the resort restaurants - goes against the grain but some of them are in fantastic positions and are presenting great (if expensive) fare.
