Very tasty food

As usual every month kichakani Sunset takes us out on safari to discover great eat out or hang joints on a lazy afternoon as oppossed to just city living... so this time we visited Trout Tree. The food is so full of flavor with so much to choose from. The Staff was amazing, John the manager was... read more

Very slow service it moved at a glacial pace. To be fair they were slammed with four bus loads of students but they had the buffet while we ordered from the menu.good portions and a unique venue with colubus monkeys and hyrax in attendance. Not a high point. The food when we got it was good but the wait spoiled... More

We have been going to the trout tree restaurant for years and have tried almost everyting on the menu at this point! The food is delicious and fresh- the fish a caught to order! The staff are always smiling and friendly and the colobus monkeys and tree hyrax provide some classic amusement as you wait for your lunch- I would... More

Unique place, charming, very friendly staff, well organised, fast and efficient. Go for the Whole Trout, its their best dish. Restaurant is open from 11 till 4 p.m. Avoid rush hours on Saturday and Sunday - it is full (tough staff can cope and still offers an excellent service). If you live in Kenya: Bring your cool box. They have... More

We stop at Trout Tree each time we get to Nanyuki and have loved it every time, especially when we have new friends with us. First there is the setting which really is in a tree. The staff is always so friendly and give wonderful service. I am not a big fish eater so I always have the beef kabobs... More

The Trout Tree House Restaurant is a wonderful experience. The restaurant is built right on a huge tree. The trout and other food options are delicious. It is also the only place that we saw white tailed monkeys. Wonderful experience!

situated scores of kilometres away from the city, the resstaurant offers a refreshing break away from the hustle and bustle of nairobi life. The service was great and the waiters were very helpful and attentive. The menu didn't have a lot of choice but what would you expect when you go to a trout farm restaurant...that notwithstanding, whatever was prepared... More

We stopped in for a quick lunch after a weekend on safari. The staff was so helpful with getting our order to us within the quick timeframe we had! Very cheerful waitress and the trout was delicious. It comes right from the tanks by your table! The restaurant is like a big treehouse. Not something I expected in Kenya!
