The Cable Mountain Lodge lady suggested this place. I had the Ribs special, and it was bang-on. Housed in an old gas station, where pumps once stood there is now seating, and the view to the canyon walls is magic. DRINK THE POLYGAMY PORTER! We came back the second night for housemade chocolate cake.

Shared the fish and carne asada tacos with hubby, both excellent and reasonably priced. Don't be put off by the location, it's in a revamped gas station

The Whiptail grill is a short walk from the Quality in / RV park. They have typical bar type food with a few extras. The service was good, but by about 8:00 all the tables were full. When we arrived at 7:30 we were nearly the only guests. They do not have hard alcohol, but do serve beer and wine.... More

Whiptail was recommended to us as an affordable option with great food from our B&B and totally surpassed expectations. A converted gas station, Whiptail offers simple, quality food with a Mexican twist. We actually liked it so much that we went to dinner there for a second night. The spaghetti squash enchiladas with goat cheese and roasted red peppers was... More

It was nice sitting outside with a warm evening breeze blowing. My companions dishes were very good but my main salad was a bit disappointing as it was just lettuce, some sweet corn and half an avocado but may I didn't choose well. As a venue it was enjoyable and seemed popular.

We stopped here for dinner in a Sunday in July. The place was busy but service prompt. It has a generous outside seating area. Food was fine. Taco’s, burgers, calamari and salad was had by our group. Only the salad was a disappointment. Minor irritation is adding 18% gratuity, but I accept that this may be a cultural issue.

The Whiptail Grill is located in an old converted gas station right outside of Zion National Park, with a little indoor seating right next to the kitchen, but lots of outdoor shaded seating with views of the mountains. The food was really great with large portions. The stuffed avocado salad and the calamari were especially yummy. The prices were reasonable... More

Sitting outside in the evening was ideal. Meal was a good size and I really enjoyed their grape salsa and fish taco. Restaurant was really busy but wait staff had time to be pleasant and give good attention to everyone. They worked really efficiently

A cute little restaurant in what looks like a converted gas station. This is right on the main street, just minutes from Zion. We stopped after a full day of hiking and wanted a quick bite. This was very good food, quick and tasty. We had burgers and beer with some salads. They have gluten-free as well. Service is good.... More
