Disappointing..... Ordered chips/salsa as a starter and it never came, had to ask for it, then entrees came shortly thereafter so we didn't have time to enjoy our starter. Kids enjoyed their quesadillas, but my chicken sandwich was undercooked and the roll it was served on was extremely dry and was terrible. French fries were good. Husband's tacos lacked flavor... This cute restaurant is an old gas station converted...the outdoor seating is under the awning of the gas station! Very charming- order the spaghetti squash enchillada and you will not be disappointed!

This looks like it might be a dive - but it has gourmet food! And very unique menu. Don't miss the spaghetti squash enchiladas!

Outdoor dining was fun and comfortable, during our visit the weather was very cooperative. Presentation of the meal was great and the taste matched the look. A very good dining experience.

Lunch time became shorter than planned and stopped in here figuring I could grab a quick sandwich or something. I dined outside and order the taco salad with chicken. Simply an amazing dish. The tea was freshly brewed as well. Service was delightful. Never once did my tea glass go empty. The sitting is in an old style filling station.... More

Guy behind the counter made me new guacamole, after I tried mine and found it full of cayenne. He modified a fish taco dish to make it less spicy for me. Very thoughtful of him. No dressing, though. Dry, dry, dry.

Having seen several whiptails while hiking Zion Canyon, we decided it would be fun to check out this small restaurant. It doesn't look like much from the street but our waitress was delightful and efficient, we sat outside and had a wonderful view of some cliffs and a full moon, the menu items were creative and all sounded delicious, and... A very busy place, recommended by locals, for good reason. The "old gas station" ambiance might put some visitors off, but the food is excellent. Fresh, great combinations of flavors and tastes in good portions. It's a noisy, happy crowd, mostly young folk who have been hiking in Zion, but spirits remain high because the food and drink are so... More

My family enjoyed the Whiptail Grill -- we hit it early as we had finished a huge hike and were very hungry. The tex mex was good. My fam likes a little kick in the sauces and Whiptail met their mark. I had the spaghetti squash burrito with corn tortilla's. It was really good. Never knew why I hadn't ever... More
