This is a slightly upscale restaurant. Food was very good, especially liked the Brie appetizer. We had fish coated in pepita seeds, the coating was a little heavy but the fish was cooked beautifully.

Following an exceptionally wonderful (although exhausting) day hiking the trails of Zion National Park, my husband stopped by the Spotted Dog Café and brought us back two mouth-watering meals. It's over a month later and I'm still daydreaming about the Pear and Ricotta Pasta Fiocci (little purses of pasta filled with ricotta and pears topped with clarified sage-infused butter and... More

We ate here for my husband's birthday. When the waiter found out we were not ordering drinks or wine and were sharing a meal (we are in late 50s so just don't eat that much any more), he wanted very little to do with us. When we were done, he didn't even ask if we wanted dessert, and I saw... More

My boy friend and I liked our dinners so much one night that we came back the next evening to try other dishes on the menu, and we were quite happy again. Their lamb shank is melting in your mouth, and the meatloaf prepared with three different types of meat has a very pleasant flavor. The trout was delicious, too.... More

Our group all had nice dinner meals without any being outstanding. The service was good. This restaurant is a good choice for a decent meal.

We had a great meal of pasta. Try the baked brie appetizer it was very good too. I thought it was a little pricey for pasta though.

Had dinner at the Spotted Dog. Both entrees were very good, the service was accommodating, the setting was beautiful, and there was an overall friendly atmosphere.

We tried it once for breakfast as they have a buffet. It was good but not amazing. The buffet was all self service including the silverware and napkins. Coffee or tea were extra. I was not so impressed but the food was good.

We were very surprised to experience this gem of a restaurant. First of all, we explained to our server, Megan, we didn't want to be rushed........., she got it!, and service was perfectly paced throughout the meal. We started with the smoked Trout appetizer which was delicious! We shared the beet salad which was also wonderful. I had the lamb... More
