A little upscale place in Springdale

Wanted something a little more refined and found it here. Mostly good experience with the food and the service was terrific throughout. Seated inside as requested. I had the grilled chicken on rice pilaf with vegetables and my husband had a buffalo burger. Both dishes were fantastic. We will definitely eat there again if we are ever there for another visit to the park.

Despite the canine name, this restaurant does not serve dog food. The atmosphere is warm and upscale, even for a tourist town like Springdale. Nice server who kept our water glasses filled. Food was delicious. Can't comment on the dessert...... Highly recommended.

4 people: 4 experiences. Pasta pockets w pear + ricotta were scrumptious. Ribs were perfect w a piquant sauce. Veggie burgers were disappointing: dry patty and no sauce of any kind on the bread. Decent wine selection. Service was good, but not excellent.

The quality of food was excellent. I felt like it was 5-star food but at a reasonable price. Definitely gourmet.

We had dinner here: the trout grilled with crushed pepitas and pesto pasta with sun dried tomatoes. The trout was a little dry with little flavor. The pasta ( I had asked for no cream) was tasty but swimming in oil. We were never asked if the food was OK by the server.

Great place-watch... More

If your looking for an upscale dinner this is the place. We did't realize this when we went. Great service and a delicious meal. We tried the Rocky Mountain Red Trout, and the special of Salmon for that day. They have a nice wine list as well.

Great food, convenient location, awesome view and friendly staff. After a day of hiking the Narrows, we arrived without a reservation, but were seated within 5 minutes. I and my son had the Buffalo burgers, which were delicious and very flavorful. My wife had a Caesar Salad and my daughter had the past pockets.

We ate here three times and enjoyed our meals but they weren't as good as we might have liked. We returned for the three visits because the sautéed wild mushroom appetizer was exceptional and out of this world -- and we'll attempt to duplicate it at home.
