We had burgers in the afternoon at flying monkeys. As starter we ordered bruschetta, The burgers were brought quickly, but no bruschetta. We started eating, and the bruschetta arrived. Since we wanted the bruschetta as a starter, we sent it back. After this, the service brought our drinks (after having asked to bring our drinks), which we had ordered together... More

I give this "excellent" for the food only. It's one of the worst looking venues I've ever eaten in. No trouble has been taken with the decor or furnishings. It's a small hanger that has tables and chairs in. If it were done up, even a bit, it could be a goldmine. And it should be, because the pizza is... More

We wanted to have lunch and stopped by the Flying Monkey since most other pizza and pasta places were still closed. We were served by a very charming little lady (the owner's daughter I guess) The food was very fresh and tasty, I had pasta with sundried tomaties and my fiancé had a stone oven baked vegetarian pizza.

Some good things on the menu here but the place is always kind of trashed--maybe to be expected for a place that does as much "family" business as they do.

We absolutely LOVED the pizza here.... the crust was very yeasty and the spices and toppings blended together beautifully. The house salad ($4) was HUGE and the freshness and taste of the greens could not be surpassed. We dined outside (was crowded and noisy inside) and it was a wonderful experience enjoying this food while watching the twilight at Zion.... More

We went to the Flying Monkey because our first choice was full, second closed and the out side seating looked nice Our server and the other staff were very pleasant but we obviously choose the wrong things my husband had pasta which was so bland and unmemorable I can't recall what it was and my parmazan chicken salad was a joke... We liked the friendly, energetic waitress whose name was Jessica. Fast service. We shared a thin crust pizza and each had a dinner salad. Tasty! Bill with tip was $25.

Good wood fired pizza, some interesting varieties (including Sentinella, the one I had). Patio got really dark after sunset, so we eventually moved inside - something to keep in mind when selecting a table. Nothing overly good or bad to say about the place, but had a good experience overall! Short staffing might be a theme after reading some of... More

This is mainly a pizza place. Lacks a bit of atmosphere. Some nice out door seating if you can find a table. Pizza was disappointing for me - but I'm English and am spoilt by the real italian dead thin crust! This pizza had much crust and little filling! It was a bit soggy. Not a good feel for pizza!... Enjoyed this place. Menu was simple but delicious. Service was exceptionally friendly and speedy. Recommended -- especially if you're hungry!
