Surprisingly Good

Generally I find that some of the worst meals I've ever had occur at National Park concessionaires, fortunately Tuolumne Meadows Grill is an exception. Service was speedy and the food was good, and not just because we had been eating dehydrated food in the back country for the past three days!

We were so hungry when we drove up to this place. We looked at it and immediately expected the food to be below average. We were pleasantly surprised when the food was actually really tasty! My boyfriend got the salmon burger and I got the chicken sandwich. Fresh veggies on both and a large helping of fries on the side.... More

In the height of summer this place has long lines, but they move at a good pace. The food is surprisingly good. We had a vegetarian chilli, a chilli dog and a salad. All three meals were served like fast food in disposable wrappings, but the quality was way above your usual fast food outlet. The prices were reasonable.

I was skeptic to order a burger at this place, but I was pleasantly surprised. First, they offer Gluten Free buns for small charge, second – food was very, very good. We ordered Cheeseburger and it was fantastic. Food was reasonably priced $10 for the burger and fries, so I don’t think it was expensive as found in some reviews.... More

Don't be put off by the long line to order--it moves very quickly. The menu is standard fare--burgers, hot dogs, some cold sandwiches, with the usual accompaniments. The burgers are filling as was the chicken salad sandwich.

A book(I know who even uses books anymore) recommended breakfast before a day of hiking so we followed the recommendation and were very disappointed. Breakfast was tiny and VERY over priced for the biscuits. I assume Pillsbury biscuits out of a can(and honestly not even as big as those) and thin sliced lunch meat is what made my ham, egg... More

Of course this place is over priced but the food is really good for what it is. There was always a long line but it moved surprisingly fast. The breakfast biscuit was outstanding, then due to proximity I had the chicken sandwich for lunch. Also really good, I like that is came on a grain bun.

Great place to grab some food but show up early or be prepared to stand in a long line. Prices are fair but not cheap.

After walking into this tent/grill, we weren't sure what to expect. There's a good variety of options, and all of the food looked good. We both opted for cheeseburgers and were very pleased. Each meal is quickly grilled to order. My husband had fries; I opted for the fruit. Both were tasty. The salads also looked good. This is a... More

It may just be the mountain air but for some reason, the burgers at this place seem to taste 10x better than burgers elsewhere! The menu is very limited but the service is extremely friendly and fast compared to other places of a similar nature I've encountered. The prices are reasonable so it's definitely a place I will stop and... More
