If you didn't bring your own food and you get hungry up around Tuolumne Meadows, this is where you will have to eat if you want prepared food. The menu selection is limited (they tear this whole place down every winter - amazing!), but everything I ate was pretty good, nothing spectacular, but I was still very happy to eat... More

The food is hot and prepared fast. The selection is limited due to several reasons. The place is seasonal and everything has to be brought in when the road is cleared and removed at the end of the season. The staff are great. We spend 9 days in the Meadows and ate here on several occasions. The food was always... More

My husband and I are avid hikers/backpackers. We will often do 20 mile day hikes in the Tuolumne area. Part of our planning is to leave early enough so we can make it back to the grill for burgers and ice cream. The food is good - not gourmet - but good and it really hits the spot when you're... More

Grabbed a chicken sandwich here for a picnic later in the day. It was a good sandwich. Just like a chicken sandwich should be! Later in the day we stopped back by for an ice cream cone. It hit the spot. Good, cold soft ice cream!

Considering where you are this place is a find. Really decent breakfast sandwiches, sold at a lunch counter next to the Tuolomne Grocery store. For a quick and decent bite before your hike you can't beat this. No, not gourmet, but better than you can imagine after several days of camping.

We were quite hungry after hiking to the top of Lembert dome. When we got to the grill the line was out the door. But being the only place for lunch that is not surprising. The line moved steadily and the wait for food was not long given the crowds. We all had burgers which were tasty and delicious fries.... More

I had a chix breast sandwich on whole wheat bun with butter lettuce and homemade fries and a ice cream. This is the best food I've had in Yosemite..hits the spot after hiking all day and good prices compared to White Wolf and Tuolumne Lodge.

Had an unexpected treat on the day we arrived when after driving and setting up camp we were too tired to cook, so we went to the grill and had salmon burgers and fries. This was our 4th day of a 7 day camping trip and food never tasted so good!. On our last day of our trip, after taking... More
