This is like other dining options in the park, a lunch for 2 will cost you $50.00 and leave you shrugging your shoulders. It's not bad, its not particularly good either. The wait staff is friendly, though service is slow.

We visited the Wawona 20 years ago, then returned this year with our teenage sons. The Food and Service are really excellent, and hit the spot after an excellent day of outdoor activity in Yosemite.

The service here was just s terrible. I went here for my birthday and could not believe how rude the staff were to me. One server actually made fun of me for ordering a cheaper priced wine. I was so excited to celebrate my birthday there, and it was ruined by the service. Other than the service the space is... More

Food was excellent and staff was very accommodating for our Yosemite Grand Tour visit. We had our choice of lunch prior to arriving so we were all set up upon arrival. Chicken caesar salad was delish! Our tour group was partnered in groups of 6 so it was nice to enjoy the company of others from around the globe. Good... More

Turn back time and visit the old hotel. Sit on the porch and have lunch. The Salmon Patty Burger was very good. The vege sandwich and soup combo not very good. The sandwich had too much mayo mixture. The sauce should have been ordered on the side.

The historic Wawona hotel and dining room makes lunch a treat. It is best to have reservations to dine. Lunch is fine here; service is too. It makes for a nice place for lunch in particular if you are driving from the valley floor to Mariposa Grove and back.

It seems as if the Wawona Dining Room has succumbed to poor quality food service. For many years it has been a pleasure to dine there due to fresh, homemade menu items and due to the atmosphere. But we were disappointed with the quality of the food this time...so unlike the Wawona dining experience of the past.

cant give a fair review as we got there just about the time they were closing out the lunch dining..cranky wait staff and super slow. Really no excuse but it happens. The restrooms are inconveniently located on the back porch..odd

We ate lunch here after our visit to the Mariposa Grove, and it was delicious! I don't know if we were just starving or if the food was that good, but we really enjoyed it! Service was great too!

We were told that Teddy Roosevelt skipped a gala dinner here to go camping with John Muir. He missed a great meal! The setting is lovely, with notable architectural details and carefully preserved or restored textiles and antiques--the ultimate in casual elegance. Service was prompt and friendly, and the food was excellent--creamy chowder and fresh turkey sandwiches on fresh bread... More
