While we did not stay here, we made a last minute reservation to have dinner here. We had no expectations about this delightful and quirky meal experience. It is European to the core. You will be seated with strangers and have a family style experience, with only one menu choice. They will accommodate vegan, dairy, gluten and other allergies, as... More

This restaurant gets overlooked because it is out of the way. And many people do not realize that the restaurant is open to everyone. You do not have to stay in the lodge to eat here, but you do have to book in advance. But it is worth the pre-planning as we truly enjoyed our meal. A big surprise given... More

This is definitely the most memorable dining experience in Yosemite for me. First, if you are staying at White Wolf Lodge for the night, this is the only restaurant, and you need to make reservation. Every table has only 1 seating, and they seat max 8 people at a time every 15 minutes from 6-8pm. That's it. It's a four... More

As a hungry backpacker, nothing could be better. After a long day on the trail, what an exquisite pleasure to go to the White Wolf Lodge. We stayed in one of the wonderful canvas tents (equipped with beds, linens, blankets, pillows, a table, chairs and a wood stove to chase away the chill in the morning) and ate at the... More

Food is served family style at this quiet restaurant, giving you a chance to chat with other travelers and compare notes. Good quality food, fresh ingredients and plenty of it. Our server offered everyone additional bowls of soup, salad and sourdough bread. The menu is fixed, so you don't get a lot of choice, but you can choose just soup... More

This is a great place for dinner that you wouldn't expect in a National Park. Upscale so it will cost a lot more than a hot dog and chips. It was worth the trip over from Curry Village.

The buffet style breakfast at the restaurant is well worth the money. There are not a lot of dining options and prices are steep for food in general in the park, but the breakfasts here offered a huge variety of healthy foods and will keep you satisfied for quite a few hours. The fresh fruit salad had huge blackberries, raspberries... More

The breakfast buffet at White Wolf is a nice blend of great food in a unique setting. Think about the porches in Mayberry with a view of the mountains. Most of the clientele are staying at this High Sierra Camp, but it is a nice stop if you are driving through the Northern part of Yosemite on Tioga Road. Serve... More

Family style seating means you get to meet other interesting people at this hidden-away location. They serve two choices - regular and vegetarian - for about $20. All you can eat! Including dessert. It's in a small but very nice lodge dating back more than 100 years. The cabins and tents at White Wolf are very mediocre and not very... More
