We had reserved for a high Sierra camp stay at sunrise camp; unfortunately the camp had to close due to fire. The front desk at toulemne meadows would not look into calling high Sierra camp reservations to see if they substitute us with a stay at Toulemne Meadows Lodge.

$24 for half a chicken. Its a National disgrace. The food was mediorce and over priced. They need to update the decor , tables and chairs. I will never eat there again. Mammoth is only an hr. aray.

This place is amazing! Stay here if you like solitude and the great outdoors. The staff is great there is a cascading stream right outside the door of your cabin and great scenery all around you. In the summer this is the place to be in Yosemite! The food in the restaurant is great!

I had the beef stew and my son had the trout. Both were very good. It was also nice to meet the people at the table that we shared. We had one meal at the Lodge during our three days stay. We drove over to the nearby picnic area at Lembert Dome, and prepared meals using our gas grill for... More

Great service & delicious food @ Tuolumne Lodge. This has usually been the case with every visit there. Zak - host, extremely pleasant & accommodation. Had the special - home run.

Our family of four enjoyed two breakfasts and two dinners at the Lodge during our stay. Everyone is seated at communal tables of 8 or 10 people. At breakfast, there can be a bit of a wait right when they open at 7am, as many morning hikers que up as early as 6:30am to get breakfast in before hitting the... More

Several of us remarked on how bad the food was at Tuolumne Lodge. I couldn't eat my entree, the tuna that couldn't decide if it was sushi or cooked, on a stingy bed of undercooked pasta. We loved the overall lodge experience and we loved hiking through the wilderness. But the food here was well below-par even for a rustic... More

Since there are not many dining options in Tuolumne Meadows, I suspect that's why they charge premium for their food. They also charge you for drinks refill and splitting plate. Personally I am definitely turned off by that. We had their Minestrone Soup, Cornmeal dusted trout and Shrimp Scampi. The soup was not any better than canned soup. Cornmeal dusted... More

We had dinner here in June, on their opening weekend. They were obviously working through some early-day kinks, so I’m not holding some hiccups against them. Overall, the service was good (more professional that I’ve often found in the parks), the food was average, and the way they run the place worked ok for us, though it could be frustrating.... More
