Food was okay, better than the other options close by. You should go and see this hotel bring a camera, you will enjoy the setting, maybe not the food.

Family reunion travels with The Ahwahnee Hotel as our base resulted in 2 breakfasts and 1 dinner in the hotel dining room. It is my favorite thing to do if staying at this historic (i.e. old and pricey) hotel. Why? You step inside the dining room at any time of the day and know you are somewhere quite magical and... We love the rustic hiking scene at National Parks. But we also love food experiences. Here was our chance to have both. We made reservations and went early. By going to the restaurant, I didn't feel guilty walking around the lobby and side rooms and gawking at the artwork and artifacts. Really cool place. A dress code is mentioned and... More

We've eaten dinner here a couple of times before but never lunch. 6 of us enjoyed different things; Fetticini Alfredo, spicy pulled pork sandwiches, the$18 dollar burger, onion soup, caesar salad, pastrami. The view is 5 stars and the food is 3 so I averaged it out. Menu is innovative for example the Onion soup was like a french onion... More

An America classic in an extraordinary setting. We were here for a special family birthday dinner while travelling, stayed elsewhere. In our rush to get in on time didn't realise the dress code. No problem says the maitre d, sir can see if there is something suitable in the cloakroom. Sure enough, the boys and I enter the cloakroom to... More

If you haven't been make plans to dine in the Ahwahnee during your visit to Yosemite National Park. Requires formal dress for dinner and reservations are a must. Staff is polished and on top of their profession. The menu is delightful with items to met anyone's diet. I had the Lamb Shank with a Cesare salad. The lamb was served... More

We liked the views, the service, and most of the food. The prime rib is overcooked so if you like yours medium, better order it rare and don't bother with the Yorkshire pudding---I sent mine back and the 2nd serving was just as overdone as the 1st one was. The swordfish was very tender and moist. The lamb was excellent... More

Amazing views, classic elegance, great food and live piano music each evening. Make a reservation before your trip as things book up early.

This restaurant is located in a hotel which is in Yosemite park. The restaurant has such an amazing view of nature. The dinning interior is very Medieval and large. The food is ok and service is not too impressive and the price is on the high side.

As foodies, we used to make the drive to Yosemite to dine at the Ahwahnee (and drive home the same night)! Now that we have a family, we decided to make a day trip into Yosemite (during a camping trip at nearby Bass Lake) to experience this incredible valley and also to dine at the Ahwahnee. Perhaps the expectations were... More
