Nice Experience

I stayed at the Awahnee Hotel and had dinner and Sunday brunch in the dining room. It is very popular and reservations are highly recommended. The host is rather snoody and treats guest rather condescendingly. I had reservations, arrived on time, and respected the dress code. Even then, I had... read more

Be sure to make a reservation. May get a walk in. Food is not outrageously expensive and elegant. Try it.

Great food, location, service. Brunch is a bit pricey but worth it. Nice views, very accomodating, nice ambience.

Our party of 7 had lunch here. The food was average, and the service was sub par. We were repeatedly told it would take a long time to have separate checks as they would have to be reentered separately. We were also disappointed in the limited draft beer selection. On the plus side, the room really is beautiful, and the... More

My husband and I ate several meals here during a recent stay, so I can tell you that breakfast, lunch and dinner here are all quite good. We did not partake of the breakfast buffet because we do not eat that much. The steel cut oats porridge is very reasonably priced and is a huge portion. I could eat only... More

I ate dinner here twice, breakfast once and Sunday Brunch. The Dinners were both very good. The service was excellent (I believe we had Jerry). Wine recommendations were very nice. Breakfast was good with many options and also good service. I really enjoyed the Sunday brunch. It is quite the experience. we booked a bed and breakfast package which was... More

We were in kind of a hurry and only had a short time to eat. We lucked out and got in with out a wait or reservations. I figured I would just get the burger (it wasn't cheap) and figured for the price, it must be good. Well sure enough it was very tasty and the fries were awesome. If... More

Wonderful ambiance to have a pleasant meal with friends and families. Menu has a nice selection of soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers and entrees. Excellent desserts especially the berry cobbler and the flourless chocolate decadence. Dining room ceiling is incredible! Wait staff is outstanding. And the water....aaaahhhhh!!!
