Live like the 1920's crash never happened.

The food is ok, but it is all bout the history, the architecture and imagining living like the Rockerfellers. It's not cheap but certainly worth a visit, and the cocktails are fantastic.eh terrace and back porch garden promise spectacular natural views and the chance to see bears.

Go eat at the Ahwahnee in the Dining Room. It is a great historic hall and an awesome experience. The buffet breakfast is of very good quality - it is the stuff of legend for hikers coming off the John Muir Trail. Evening dining is gently formal. There is a dress code - collar etc. Dinner feels like much worse... More

An amazing lodge in the heart of Yosemite Valley. That's only the beginning of your experience. Food at Sunday brunch was plentiful, fresh , and delectable. Service was exceptional.

I took 3 young adults to dinner here. We were camping in Housekeeping. We arrived early and wandered around the hotel. What a beautiful place, filled with history. We all enjoyed our meal. The music, and service, were awesome. I think every visitor should experience this American treasure.

We had a large family meal here at 5:30pm and the sunlit dining room was exquisite. The food itself was delicious particularly the prime rib. The best part of my meal however was the dessert. I highly recommend the chocolate croissant bread pudding! My only gripe is that the restaurant seemed very insistent on their dress code which I found... More

We went to the dining room for my birthday dinner. Such a treat! Top of the line dining deep in the wilderness. I found it almost impossible to make reservations with the number provided on websites and from our travel agent. However, I finally used Open table.com and got in - no problem. I highly recommend making reservations BEFORE you... More

No better food or service around. At dinner, the room changes its ambience and everyone dresses up. Candlelight abounds and the piano player plays super background music. Such a nice, rememberable time

We had the most enjoyable dinner and the atmosphere was romantic, we had a lovely window table and the pork chops were to die for. Proper attire is requested for evening dinning though it did not appear that they strongly enforced it, just a lovely night.

If you want a memorable experience, definitely visit the Ahwahnee Dining Room. When you walk it, the room reminded me of the banquet hall in the Harry Potter movies--big and grand. A respectable wine list and the service was attentive. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but the prices reflect that. Well, when you have to truck... More
