Good for a drink

A small but good selection of beverages here and tasty bar snacks to go with it. A good place for a pre-dinner of afternoon drink.

We ate a couple of meals in this little joint on our way in and out of the hotel. It is a great place to pick up a quick bite so you can spend more time in the park.

This was the only part of our trip to the Ahwahnee that we did not care for. We did not make reservations for our first night so we just decided to eat at the bar. Let's just say we spent $70 for two sandwiches, chips, and two non-alcoholic drinks (and two pieces of pie). It is WAY overpriced. Avoid.

Very nice place to sit outside and relax. Waiters are kind and food and drinks quality is good. Unfortunately they don't have many food options.

You can walk in and put your name on the seating list. No dress code like the hotel dining room. Walk around the hotel while you wait. Friendly staff, cozy eating nook with low tables were ok for us but some might not enjoy their food being on at coffee table height. Good food and ok prices.

We weren't up for a big meal our first night at the hotel, so split a salad and sandwich at the Bar. It was the perfect amount of food and was tasty. We were happy with our experience.

Sometimes the formal Ahwahnee dining room is full, so the nearby bar fills the bill if you want a light meal. It was about $40 for soup and hot dogs, so it's still pricey. They serve great drinks.

The dinner was a rip-off in my opinion, with tiny overpriced portions. Not worth it! I had the pork tacos and they tasted good but they were super tiny; husband had a pulled-pork sandwich, which came with chips, and the kids had PB&J and a hot dog. Not worth the $$$ we paid!! Check out the hotel and the grounds... More

After a long day exploring Yosemite Valley, we stopped by the famous, historic Ahwahnee Hotel for dinner. We did not have reservations for the main restaurant, so we chose to eat in the bar. It was one f the worst meals, ever. Overpriced! Flavorless pork, frozen apple pie, canned boysenberries, very soggy fruit in the side fruit cup. This is... More

We liked the casual atmosphere in the Ahwahnee Bar, and we loved their antipasti, served with crisp crostini. It was heavy on the meat, with prociutto, salami and a carpaccio, huge stuffed green olives, marinated mushrooms and artichoke hearts and red peppers, served with thick slices of a crusty white bread and butter. The no-gluten chocolate torte with raspberry sauce... More
