Gorgeous views with casual dining

We like to sit out on the patio with gorgeous views and have drinks. Very relaxing atmosphere surrounded by the historical Ahwahnee Hotel.

Ate and drank here, and enjoyed it all--just a spectacular setting--I could eat goldfish and be in awe.

There are tables outside the back of the hotel that offer a great view of the Valley. The bar has some interesting placed-themed drinks, but after a day of hiking even a simple beer in this magnificent setting was perfect!

The service was horrible and the food was mediocre at best. Seriously overpriced for what you get. Beautiful hotel but pack your lunch and eat outside and you'll be glad you did.

Lovely experience, stop and have a cocktail after your tour and enjoy the scenery and the wildlife such as squirrels roaming the lawns

The Ahwahnee Lodge is beautiful. Disney even based their Animal Kingdom Lodge on this 1926 feat of engineering. If you'd like to get an overpriced drink while you walk through the lodge or sit outside with it, you can, but the views available from the bar area and the adjoining patio area are nothing special. I'd suggest just springing for... More

Disappointed that neither the evening restaurant or the Café/Bar served area specialty dishes like Rainbow trout or Salmon except as smoked.

Not hugely special & like everything at Ahwahnee, overpriced. Many drinks north of $15. There is a small bar and food area but you can take drinks to the lounge

I liked the chili hot dog and my wife liked the wrap with a bowl of chili. Service was friendly and very competent. Nice place to eat after a morning hike.

Had lunch while touring the park. It has a very limited menu. The food was average but thought it was a bit expensive. The restaurant was very hot and uncomfortable but the service was very fast.
