During the winter, this is the place to warm up by the fire. The food is good and the drinks too. They had really good guacamole and chips.

The food during the day was limited but good. I had the chili, and my husband had the smoked trout with bagels. It was a little pricely for the chili, but it was good. Service was excellent, and staff was super friendly.

The staff at the bar were very friendly and made us feel at home so we could linger and relax with our drinks. Kids are allowed until 10pm. There is a very limited snack menu that starts at 4:30 but the sandwiches were good. I think you can bring your own food in too. They have Mammoth Brewing Co beers... More

A cozy lounge for a drink and appetizer. Central fireplace gives warmth. Staff is friendly and helpful and prices are decent. Besides the fireplace there isn't much in the way of atmosphere as the views of the mountains aren't visible at night.

The food here was awesome, and the staff were very accommodating. This was the one more upscale restaurant at the Lodge, and it had great wine and many great food choices. Get there early though, you can't make reservations unless you have a party of 8 or more, and there's long waits.

Lighter fare, but very good. Drinks are well made and staff is very friendly. Can't beat the fireplace in the winter

The lounge could be average or worse and it would be OK, because you have no choice. The staff are super helpful. the menu is limited, but very good. The highlight, though is roasting marshmallows on the fireplace in front of the bar. Get marshmallows in the gift shop. The barman will provide skewers. It is definitely a fun night... More

A roaring fire, a good wine list, good cheese, fantastic smoked salmon, quiet atmosphere, classy music--what more could you possibly want from a lounge on winter's evening? Although it is a lounge that kids can't be in after 10:00, my 11 and 12-year olds on their best grown-up behavior were happy, comfortable and welcomed there. Our waiter was patient, helpful,... Imagine, it's Christmas time, it cold out, the snow is falling, you walk in to get a glass of wine or a hot chocolate next to a big, real fire. That's right, you can get all of those things here. The problem is, your experience could vary greatly depending on who's working that night. From what I've been able to... More
