Compared to the Ahwahnee Dining Room, nothing comes close. This was a very nice restaurant, very modern compared to the Ahwahnee. This would be my second choice of where to eat in the area. I am told there is a view of the falls, but we could not see it at night. The Onion soup was very good. Just wish... More

This was our 5th visit to Yosemite NP this year and 3rd time eating at The Mountain Room Lounge. When we checked in at Yosemite Falls Lodge, we were told there was no DISH satellite service for Game 6 of the World Series, however The Mountain Room Lounge would have reception for the game. The lodge staff advised us the... More

What a cool place to go warm up around the fire. Drinks menu was fine but the only hot food available was a very substandard veg soup.

As per other reviews the chili is hot and is served with a soft warm corn muffin. It hit the table in about 4 minutes. The cost was $12.75. A glass of Ravenswood old vine Zinfandel for $8.50, and we were happy. One of our better meals in Yosemite! Approximately the same cost as the food court but a moderate... More

Were in town the night of game 6 of the World Series so the bar was busy. We figured we would just pick up some bar food and enjoy the game. The menu selection was a little weird for a bar but we made do with sandwiches and salads and fruit/brie plates. Food was good but a little pricey -... More

Limited menu, my Chilli was lukewarm and drinks and food are way over-priced. Good food establishments in Yosemite are limited but I wouldn't go here for food....drinks maybe! On the plus side the staff were friendly!

We arrived late and the main restaurant closes at 8pm so we went here and watched game 1 of the world series with a lot of others, it was full. Your menu choices are pretty limited to a couple sandwiches and or soup. I flew in from NC and drove 4 hours here so I would have eaten wallpaper. It... More

My wife and I went to The Mountain Room Lounge to have a drink while waiting for our table at the Mountain Room Restaurant. The lounge is very rustic with many flat screen TV's mounted on the wall, the 2014 MLB World Series was playing. The service was excellent.

Overall service was a bit slow but not complaint-worthy. A great place to hangout with family/friends especially in the evenings when most places in the area are closed. Very comfortable and warm atmosphere with a central fireplace and a casual log-diner ambiance. A short menu list, but a very good selection with modest prices for its location. Surprisingly good food,... More

Great environment. Loved the firepit in the middle. TVs everywhere showing the current games was great. Service was a bit slow but it was pretty busy so that's forgivable. Food was pretty good, well priced. Great beer and wine selection. Try the Mammoth Double Nut, VERY tasty.
