If you read my review of the Hotel then you know this was a first time trip to Yellowstone National Park for my mother in law. My husband and I have eaten at the Dining Room Several times in the past. The Dining Room has a simple turn of the Century decor. Floor to celing windows give you a... read more

Even though I was sick as a dog for half my trip, I loved the food! Sweet potatoes with veggie chili was to DIE for. Hubby loved the bison burgers and steaks. Everything was fresh, healthy and interesting. Yes, yes, yes!!

We spent three nights at the hotel here and as this is the only restaurant we ate breakfast and dinner here several times. First off, unless you eat a lot the dinner servings are huge. My wife and I learned to order one entree plus a salad or appetizer and then we shared it all. They are very accomdating of... More

This was one of our more enjoyable meals during our weeklong Yellowstone stay. We had dinner at the Dining Room during summer. In the summer, dinner is first come, first served, but if you have to wait an hour for your table, what better place to wait than sitting outside the Dining Room, watching several nearby, grazing elk? Hostesses were... More

after a chilly day spent outside exploring, this restaurant did the trick. Big open dining room, friendly staff, tasty bread and butter, good salads, and great desserts. We also thought the prices were reasonable for the atmosphere, quality, and experience.

The food here was very good. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. We happened to be there for breakfast on a Sunday morning and the buffet was superb. The wait staff were all exceptionally friendly and hard working. We did find that the dining room could get a bit warm in the evening so I recommend layered clothing if you eat... More

I would not recommend eating at this restaurant if you are in a rush. It took a long time to get served, but the food quality and selection were very good.

Trout tacos, Bison Steaks, Lamb Shank all very good. Wait staff is excellent. The only thing we did not enjoy was the breakfast buffet. Order off the menu, skip the buffet.

We did eat her one evening while we were in Mammoth. My husband ordered the prime rib, I ordered the bison top sirloin and my daughter ordered the linguine with chicken. Again like all the other restaurants in Yellowstone the food was edible just not fantastic like a Ruth Chris. Ate here also for breakfast and it was good. The... More

We had two dinners and a breakfast at the Mammoth Hot Springs dining room. The red pepper gouda soup was excellent. Fish tacos were quite good as was the hummus appetizer. My husband had the bison tacos and thought they were pretty good but not excellent. Service (in February) was prompt and we were able to get a table facing... More
