I wish I discovered this cafeteria earlier in my 2 week stay. I ate most of meals in dining room until I realized the food was similar at half the price here. They gave huge breakfast portions. And get a refillable mug that you can use everywhere in the park.

I can't say enough about the service and the young people that work in the cafeteria. They are all super attentive, friendly, polite, and hard working. However, someone needs to revamp their food. I had better eggs in some of the worst military galleys in the world. The food was bland and the coffee was overcooked. Stay away from here... More

A Fritata that was so over cooked the veggie and cheese formed a resin like topping. Bacon and sausage that were not burnt, they were petrified. Stick with the fresh fruit, oatmeal, and french toast. Avoid the maple-flavored corn syrup. (I asked ...is there any real maple in that syrup? answered: "Nope") Bottomless cups of coffee and super nice staff... More

Standard cafeteria food at standard (ie: high!) national park prices. The service was good, the portions are large and the cheesecake was quite excellent. There aren’t many other choices for a square meal in the area unless you’ve brought your own.

Anyone who's been to Yellowstone National Park will tell you that June in the Park=thousands of tourists. They all want to eat at the same time. We'd spent most of the morning hiking and were famished, and entered the Gift Shop/Cafeteria to meet: a line. It was 12.30. I thought, oh god, we'll be here for hours. ] I was... More

We stopped and had the soup and salad bar. The soups looked like they might have been good at 11:00 - but it was 1:00 and they were cooked down to mush. The salad bar needed to be replenished - we only got iceberg but there were signs for other greens. We ate a lot of crackers.

You can't go wrong whether on a budget or not. Good food selections, spacious cafeteria and the view is also great.

we ate at this cafeteria once and food was not good at all. Service as always was provided by high school/college kids who were great and nice. But the food sucked and it was pricey. You can get way better food at mcdonalds for lot cheaper.

We stopped here for lunch after visiting the grand canyon, and didn't run into large crowds, so our hot food service was prompt. I had huckleberry barbeque chicken, and thought it was quite good. I enjoyed our lunch here much better than the pricier OHI dining room. The staff is very friendly as well. Had we been staying at that... More
