It's way better than it was.

We ate here a few times in 2012, and I have to say this time it was much better. It felt like much better quality for the price this time. The cashiers were wonderful. We had a 4 yr old having a meltdown after a very long day, and the cashier gave her some paper and a pencil to draw.... read more

good and healthy selections most reasonably priced for a resort cafeteria. Drink water instead of soda and you can get many lunch selections for less than $10 to include lunch bowls, wraps and hot meals....

The food options were limited and it seemed understaffed. The Staff members there were working as quickly as possible to serve the long line. The food was just ok, I would have preferred better sandwich options. I probably will not eat there on any return visits.

There are good places to eat in the park, including the Canyon Village Grill next door, but this cafeteria is not one of them. My husband and I stopped at the Canyon Village Cafeteria for a fast dinner. We were on our way back to the east entrance and it was getting late, about 8 p.m. so this would be... More

We stopped one night while passing through. We all decided on soup/salad bar. While salad bar is large, it is not kept stocked so always out of items. Service was horrible. Had to keep asking for items server forgot. I will say the water boy was excellent keeping our glasses full.

We always enjoy the cafeterias in the park for quick reasonable meals. That was true again this year but the menu has changed from prior years and not as much to my liking. We prefer more solid American-style entrees as in prior years and that was not the case this time. The pasta with Italian sausage was OK but light... More

We decided to try this place because the dining room was so expensive. Unfortunately you get what you pay for... Food was pretty lousy. I had a rice bowl with beef, the rice was bland and the beef was dry and tasteless. My wife got the Shepherd's pie and that wasn't very good either. Would not go back unless desperate.

We weren't thrilled here as GF folk. No one could give us answers as to whether or not a food had gluten in it or not (we didn't even get to the conversation about cross-contamination). I suspect that actually there could be a lot of choices, but when I asked about the rice bowls you could put together, the girl... More

Wife and I stopped for a quick snack. Food was good and hot. Service was quick. Staff was friendly. Prices were ok. Family of 4 or more might get expensive, but you are in a national park. I had the buffalo sloppy joe she had chicken strips. We'd eat here again
