don't get to dinner starving, hang out on the porch before dinner with a beverage while you wait for a table.

Roosevelt Lodge is one of the best full service restaurants inYNP. It is also one of the only restaurants. They have a menu that is suitable for all groups of people both American and foreign. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly and knowledgeable. You do not go to the Roosevelt Lodge for gourmet food but what you get is... More

My wife and I stayed at Roosevelt for four nights in July 2014 as we ate several meals in the dining hall (breakfast, lunch and dinner). We were completely satisfied with the food and experience at each meal. The service is fast and friendly. The menu has a fair amount of variety, particularly when considering the rather remote location of... More

The lodge is remote but despite the location, the food is varied and fresh, I visited years ago, and it was only a meat and potatoes menu but this has now changed. There are some vegetarian options and the buffalo fajitas are excellent. There is a decent wine list at the bar for a drink during the inevitable wait for... More

This Lodge has the perfect atmosphere and feel of an old fashioned, Yellowstone out of the way lodge. It's conveniently located near the Lamar Valley where we were astounded by the wildlife. The food here is good, and we loved the chili. The building and porch are charming. Worth a stop.

We were in the Park for the day, as my in-laws have a cabin 20 miles outside Yellowstone on the Madison. Its a ritual that they go in the park on the 4th of July, as my wife's father's family has property in Gardiner and were rangers in the park. So, after checking out Gibbon Falls, Laramie Valley, and all... More

Food was B+ but location, scenery and less-tourisy aspects made it great. This side of the park is the best.

We stayed at the Roosevelt Lodge for 2 nights and enjoyed our stay. While it was a bit more rustic than we normally like, we did have a cabin with a bathroom, so that we did not have to go outside for facilities. We did not have high expectations for the restaurant, but ended up being very impressed. We were... More

I looked forward to a meal at Roosevelt Lodge. We didn't mind the wait for a table because we enjoyed the view and the rocking chairs on the porch. Once the pager called us inside, we expected a good experience, but it just wasn't as good as we hoped. We ordered taco salads which were large and made a pretty... More
