Just happened to be near here one day around lunch time as we were driving around the Park. A small, rustic, and very nice dining room. Our server, Michaela, was pleasant and attentive, and the Wild Game pasta was superb. The Stuffed Sweet Potato and Taco Salad were also quite good.

We pulled in and saw deer coming out from between the cabins. We grabbed some rocking chairs on the porch, we people watched, had a snack while relaxing and rocking.

While visiting Yellowstone, my husband and I ate at The Roosevelt Lodge twice. He has been here nearly a dozen times and always orders the Bison Burger without hesitation and he would recommend it to anyone. Being my first and second time, I decided to try the grass-fed beef burger and the meatballs with huckleberry BBQ sauce respectively. The burger... More

We waited an hour to get a table. When we sat down and started ordering the ribs we were then told they were out of them. We drove all the way from Canyon Village to eat there, waited all that time, and then they were out of the one thing we (and everyone else) came for. The waitress should have... More

While in Yellowstone (July 2014) we stopped here for lunch. We were seated right away and waited on right away. Our server was very good and very helpful-I actually filled out a comment card on her at the Lodge. My son had a burger, which he inhaled and pronounced delicious. My husband had the buffalo chili nachos, which was so... More

Spent the day traveling around the park. Stopped in here for lunch. The dining room is part of the lobby, so we could see when tables were open, but the hostess was very slow in seating the parties that were waiting. Our server seemed less than enthusiastic to be there. Food overall was good-usual lunch fare. Unfortunately, not a memorable... More

Admirably, every one of Yellowstone's Lodges has it's own unique character--at the Roosevelt, it's all about rustic, western log cabin charm. We stayed nearby and not at the cabins so am unable to comment on that experience, but we very much enjoyed a meal at the restaurant whose menu very well captured the overall feel of this section of the... We went for lunch & it was $78 for two adults & four young kids. Lunch begins at 11:30 & they wouldn't even seat us until right at 11:30. We got there @ 11 & by 11:30 there was a long line behind us. It's first come first serve for lunch & reservations for dinner. Food was average, nothing special.

We absolutely loved Roosevelt Lodge! Not only is the lodge well-kept and peaceful, but it serves amazing food! This really was one of our favorite places in the park. We loved spending time in the rocking chairs on the porch- it was a great down-time place to relax and catch a breath after hiking and trekking all over the park.... More
