My wife and I recently hosted a friend at Bazin's and we had a terrific lunch. The restaurant is elegantly rustic and very inviting. The tables are sufficiently apart to permit conversation without straining one's voice or ears. The wait staff is friendly, knowledgable and attentive without being intrusive. The wine list is very impressive and carries a wide variety... More

Vienna is fortunate to have some wonderful restaurants, and Bazin's on Church is one of them. The menu offers enough variety to satisfy most palates. And the food is good. I emphasize this because I have been to so many restaurants where the food ranges from passable to plain awful. So to find an establishment like Bazin's that offers quality... More

Have eaten at Bazins on several occasions. The newer upscale Mexican addition is delightful; not your everyday refried beans, etc., but innovative dishes that are well-prepared. Service is great, ambiance is busy and energetic. Original Bazins is elegant, food is well prepared, good drinks and great service.

We went to Bazin’s for the first time because one of our party has celiac disease and the chef/owner also has it and offers a wide gluten-free-menu. Our appetizers, a lobster and crab salad, and a ceviche-like cocktail of shrimp and scallop were very good. Among the entrees, the winner was the duck breast. The generous portion was mote tender... Bazin's has fancy menus with prices that omit the decimal point, and a book-length wine-list, but it's not that special. I had a steak with garlic fries. The steak was cooked correctly and tasted fine, but the presentation and quality was basically comparable to Outback, only much more expensive. The key lime pie was disappointing - not creamy enough in... More

My wife always gets on my case about never liking the food at restaurants. There are so many attributes for restaurants but for me the final question is "is the food good?" In so many cases the answer is no, esp in the DC area. We went to Brazin's as a pre-Wolf Trap meal and my expectations were low as... More

A friend found this unique little restaurant in Vienna, VA. It has now become "our" place to meet for dinner. The menu is varied and even offers gluten free entrees. The service is top notch, friendly wait staff, the food is absolutely wonderful. What a great find! Dinner at Bazin's tomorrow evening. Can't wait.

It's not a large restaurant and it was a bit noisy but the service more than made up for that! The food was good--the appetizers looked so good that I had 2 of them as my meal. The waiter recommended a wonderful Malbec to go with my dinner when I described to him that I wanted something heavier than a... More

I've been to Bazin's a couple of times in the last month. It's always an excellent meal. They have a nice variety of gluten free menu options and they will make adjustments to your menu selection to accommodate dietary restrictions, including creating a fun alcohol-free cocktail. Just ask and they will bring you a fantastic meal/drink. This will continue to... More

My wife and I stopped in for a Friday night early dinner treat. We split the asparagus appetizer, she had the special Lamb Chops and I had the special Steak Au Poivre with Mac and cheese. Everything was excellent. The service was outstanding. I started out with a vodka martini with blue cheese stuffed olives, them my wife and I... More
