We tried the All Star twice and both times the lack of wait staff made for a horrid experience: slow service by the lone harried waitress, dirty tables and floors, and the same old tasteless burgers and fries. In a town whose restaurant scene is sinking like the Titanic, any effort at all would shine. But, alas, we won't be... More

The wait staff was very friendly as was the patrons sitting next to me at the bar. My burger came quickly and was good as expected. If in the area I would stop there again for a very casual meal.

My husband liked the idea of walleye on the marque, in spite of the poor reviews. The waitress was nice. The walleye was good. The baked potatoe was tasty but not hot. Pies were homemade, but not good.

Waited ages to order and even longer for any food. Salad never came. Baked potato very hard. Steak was OK. Only go if last resort.

We had an eveing meal here. Food was prepared nice and price was average for the area. There was noit anything special about the reataurant. The meal was enjoyable and probably would eat there again if in the area. It was convenient to where we stayed.

First of all, the restaurant is open. We hesitated to go here because of the mixed reviews, but by the sixth night in town it was the only place left. After the meal, we all agreed that we would have eaten there every night. I had the calves liver and onions which was the best I have ever tasted. My... More

Having been a waitress in my youth, I am one of the most patient customers to work with. However, this place went too far. It was one of the few places open in Hot Springs on a Sunday night, so we decided to give it a try (without checking TA reviews as I usually do). When we walked in, the... More

This restaurant is under new management, recently. There are very few restaurants in Hot Springs SD, because many have closed. We (my mother and I) ate at Wooley's and All Stars, but enjoyed our dinner at All Stars more than our dinner at Wooley's, which was recommended by our hotel. We suggest entering the "Pub" door because the Pub side... More
