Service was great, and fast. Food meh definitely could have had a better taco salad down at taco John's.

The first time I saw one of these pancakes on another friend's plate, I knew it would be one of my favorites--and it is. The wait staff and kitchen staff have been there for years, so everyone knows how to treat the customer right. One of my favorite places in Hot Springs.

Dales is the place where you feel completely comfortable the second time you've been there. I usually get the special, comes with the fresh made soup and salad bar. Last Friday they had the shrimp basket as the special with 8 good sized butterflied shrimp and a pile of fries, it was a bargain. I believe one of the best... More

This restaurant is right across the street from Evans Plunge. Many of the participants in the water aerobics class go right there after class for breakfast. I am a fan of biscuits and gravy, but I ordered the pancakes, which are bigger than a plate. Service was good, coffee kept refilled and hot, and although busy with all the water... More

Loud, cluttered atmosphere with slow service. At least third of restaurant was covered with dirty tables. Finally found clean table and waited 5 minutes with no menu or server. Group of old loud rednecks talking real loud in corner about how the President of the United States faked his citizenship. They acted like they were the regular group drinking coffee... More

Dales sits on a corner where many locals come for breakfast or lunch or dinner. When you walk in, you get the feeling people are looking around to see if they know you. This gives this place a familiar atmosphere where you naturally end up talking to the table next to you. This is nice. Unfortunately the food doesn't match... More

Don't stop here if you are on a time schedule. Food is adequate and the menu selection is acceptable. Restaurant is old and decor is dated - maybe from the 1950s. Staff is friendly, but service is slow. Prices are reasonable. One very positive note - our server was a 2nd amendment supporter as advertised on her t-shirt.

The food was okay. Got a large quantity of hot food. That is the good. The restaurant is NOW for sale. Large sign on wall not facing the packing lot and hard to see. Had a number of flying insects inside. The interior has old worn dirty carpets. The overall dining room condition makes me really concern about how clean... More

Crowded with the locals, if that tells you anything. The service was good the food was good and the value was good. If you are counting on eating dinner here, better get there by 6:30 as they close early.
