Excellent food, awkward service

My wife and I stopped by Vitor's for the first time and were excited to try their new seasonal menu. Service was extremely awkward. We arrived at 5:30 for our reservation but found the door locked. They came to the door and said we could sit inside but they had about 10 minutes until they opened... read more

I have been to Vitor's many time and never been disappointed. Their food is always top notch and service is also good. The only downside is the size of the establishment, it is small to have a big party (over 15-20 people).

Did a 3 course chef's special at Vitor's and it was one of the best Brunches that I have had in my life. Very creative appetizer of breakfast style Crab Rangoon. A delicious crab puff pastry with hollandaise sauce. The last course was a melt in your mouth bread pudding french toast. Everyone I was with really enjoyed their meals... More

Best hidden gem on the west side of Cincinnati. We had a party of 9 and did the 7 course chefs table, nothing short of fantastic. Highly recommend !!!

This a true hidden gem. Would have never known about it or found it if not for my family in the area. The location is in a very old and restored home in the Cheviot area. It is tastefully decorated and a really wonderful place to enjoy a meal. Outstanding service, but the food is the reason to go here.... More

Have been to Vitor's many times, but this latest dinner was best ever. The food is always exceptional, but tonight the food, the great service, and attentiveness of entire staff ( including Chef Vitor's) made this dining evening one to remember. Not the easiest restaurant to get to, but always well worth the drive. Try the new deconstructed pot pie... More

We came by Vitor's (Bonsai) for our first trip to the West side. The atmosphere was nice inside amidst a little historic district in Cheviot-Westwood. Unfortunately, it was a little empty given the abundance of "fish frys" that go on Fridays during Lent. We had the sushi bar all to our self though! Our chef was very professional and personable,... Best brunch I've ever had! The French Toast is absolutely amazing and the bonus is there's even a dessert version so you can order it whenever you want! Dinner options are also delicious and I have yet to have better sushi in the city. I know that if Vitor's was located downtown or in OTR, there would constantly be a... More

Nice hidden little gem to visit. The atmosphere was great for couples, the food was excellent although it was a bit pricey and the portions were a little on the small side. If you're looking for a great date place, this is it.

After two years living in the Cincinnati area, I decided to try Vitor's brunch. After reading the reviews I was expecting great flavor, but it just did not happen. We had made reservations and were seated within a reasonable time, but had to wait a long time for our breakfast. My french toasts were good, but the Italian pannini my mother... More
