We're regulars

Food preparation is rapid. Good quality and great prices for a fast get away to a movie etc. We order their fish tacos frequently with no beans or rice.

"Corporate Burritos Suck" is the mantra behind Habanero, and every employee wears a T-shirt exclaiming their disgust with places like Chipotle and Taco Bell. And Habanero actually WAS an incredible alternative with their fresh, unique Latin American cuisine served in a modern, arty atmosphere. But say "gracias, no" to enjoying a meal there now. The staff, historically a group of... More

Habanero has great food! The chips are my favorite. I don't know what it is that makes them so special- they're a little thicker than your usual chips. More along the lines of a pita chip, but with a different texture. I'm not even doing them justice here! My favorite burrito is the Chupacabre and I have chicken added to... More

I always enjoyed Habanero, but I recently discovered their BBQ chicken, which I think is great in their tacos and burritos. Monday is $5 burritos all day and Tuesday they have $2 tacos, buth yummy!

I've only had burritos from more extensive menu. Food is fresh and each burrito is made to order: you stand there and tell them what to include. It's perfect for impulse eating. I've only used carryout. I have no idea what sit-down is like but it's the same menu. My favorite is shredded pork in the burrito.

I've discovered that I love the BBQ Chicken option in the Burritos and Tacos. I really like the special nights ($5 Burrito Monday and $2 Taco Tuesday.) The Roasted Squash filling is a tasty meat-alternative. A few beers on tap, too.

I know a lot of people like Habanero, but I just can't seem to find anything I like there. The burritos don't have much flavor, mostly due to the salsa and lack of seasoning in general. and the chicken I've tried has been tough and stringy. I haven't seemed to find anything that I really enjoy.

My wife and I were looking for someplace different for lunch and found ourselves in this local Mexican restaurant. It was counter service in a college town and we each ordered a different burrito. I got beef and my wife chicken. It was nice and crispy and surprising served on a bed of red-sauce, almost reminding me of a pasta... More
