Very good food and attentive service

I had the brussel sprout pizza and beer salad. It was delicious! Others at the table had the lobster ravioli and it looked amazing. Appetizers were good, especially the trio of bruschetta and grilled octopus. The veal meatballs were a little too lemony. Would go again.

We dined here while we were in town for a conference. Once plus is that you can make reservations and this really helps avoid the 90 minute waits some downtown places have. The ambiance is nice and our fears of eating outdoors in January were unfounded since the lower level is completely inside. The waitress was very good at advising... More

Love coming here for the bolognese which is the best in the city. Their other stuff is good too especially if you come for their happy hour specialties. But the bolognese here really is spectacular. I've event gotten Italians to admit that they like the bolognese and that it's pretty close to what you'd get in Italy. As the location... More

The food and quality is good but nothing special. Nice location, with outside seating. The staff was very nice and welcoming. All in all a nice restaurant.

What a lively restaurant right on Fountain Square! Great atmosphere for friends, family, couples, or solo. The Barbera d'Asti was an excellent red wine, especially if you like full body without the bite. The baked ricotta appetizer was warm and creamy spread with a touch of lemon and shallot. The Friday-only lasagna with Bechamel was incredible, rich but not overpowering. But... More

The homemade gnocchi is outstanding! A must have if you visit. Tempted to try the Brussel Sprout pizza. The service was great and noise level upstairs was fine - downstairs tends to be very loud.

Like its sister restaurant Nicola's just up the road, this restaurant delivers mind-numbingly good Italian. You simply can't go wrong with anything you order here, and the ambiance is fantastic. (Don't miss the lighting - it's a really unique and nice touch.) I've eaten here dozens of times and never fail to visit when I'm in Cincinnati.

This was our first visit ti Via Vite, and it has been at this location for years. There are two levels and we ate on the lower more formal setting although it is not stuffy. The upstairs has an enclosed outside area overlooking the square, which would be greta on a warm day. This day, it was raining, cool, and... More

This was a large party on a Thursday evening. The place was packed and pretty lively. Our 2 waiters were very efficient looking after us at the upstairs space. The food offerings ran the gamut from bruschetta, cheese and charcuterie plates to salads, pastas and meat-centered main courses. I just got back from Rome and I can tell you that... More

I visited this place with a group and the staff were very accommodating to the size of the group. Our server, Laura, was friendly and upbeat despite the freezing balcony. Our table was only half heated, as the ceiling heater on the one end was broken. The people on that end did not enjoy themselves at all and left early... More
