Very good food

Restaurant name or exterior is not fancy but the quality of food is excellent. Very creative and presentation of the food. Came here for dinner during restaurant week and for $35 you get to choose an appetizer, salad, and a main entree, great value. Mussel steamer is fresh and tasty. House salad is... read more

This restaurant is misleading from the street appeal. It's in a strip center next to an Office Depot. But don't let that stop you from visiting. Everything is fresh and expertly prepared. Daily specials which you don't want to miss. I had the pleasure of having lunch today at Brown Dog and met the owner. What a super nice guy... More

We had four appetizers before heading out to the opera. I had the salad with beats and goat cheese. Plenty of beets and perfectly dressed. I also had a wonderful crab cake that was served with an outstanding garnish of cheese and I believe fennel. My husband had seared tuna which the chef kindly prepared an appetizer portion (even though... More

Oui. This indie eatery is shoehorned in a old strip mall behind the Bob Evans on Peiffer Rd. It is also next door to a sushi lounge. The door and window says it all: from Zagat to Frommers and from Travel Channel to TripAdvisor, this place has stickers that virtually cover a window. Best food, best plating, best atmosphere, best...well... More

Wow factor for your palate. The grilled caesar salad wrapped in prosciutto and parmesan topped with a quail egg started the dinner followed by Sea Scallops with spring pea grits and caramelized Brussels Sprouts.A fantastic pairing of flavors that complimented each other. The bellinitini was refreshing and freshly baked hot bread served with roasted garlic and olive oil. Dessert choices... More

The restaurant is located in a strip mall next to a Subway shop and many budget hotels, but don't let that prevent you from eating here. It has ample seating space and well decorated. The food is of good quality, especially for the local area. I would rated the best in the area. Good extensive wine selection and the service... More

I had a very late lunch here and the staff was extremely welcoming although I was only a few minutes ahead of closing time. We were attended to promptly, but never made to feel rushed. The menu at lunchtime has a wide assortment of sandwiches, salads, small entrees, and appetizers, as well as a full bar which is probably quite... More

I was extremely disappointed in my dinner at the brown dog cafe. The cafe was recommended, but the person noted that service can run poor and inconsistent. Our dinner was terribly over priced and under delivered. It started with the waitstaff forgetting a glass of wine, despite reminding her. She also forgot one of our appetizers. We admitted defeat and... More

This chef-owned restaurant is a small gem in Blue Ash, a northeast suburb of Cincinnati. I have been here several times over the years, most recently last Saturday. I had what the menu listed as "two birds," a combination of a perfectly cooked duck breast and some house-made pheasant sausage. Also on the plate - some nicely cooked greens, new... More

The menu selections are varied and a little something for everyone. They have a huge wine list and speciality martinis. The best Sea Bass I have ever had. Menu is unique! Small and charming decor. Husband had venison which was good but growing up in a rural setting with hunters in the family, we had had better. The corn chowder... More
