We went because a local recommended it and we'll be back because it was really good. We had hamburgs, fried seafood and the best sautéed crab cakes west of Maryland. Beers were cheap and the beer specials were only a $1.00. Special props to the waitress who was not afraid to guide us to the best items. Thank you!

Very casual, limited menu upstairs, salad was good and loaded with croutons. Tables have unexpected high bar seats, and seemed like more of a bar than a restaurant, as we do not drink.

Great casual seafood place. Island tacos were great spicy (blackened) & crunchy (slaw) with cheese - which I don't think I had before on a fish taco. Loud & busy on Friday night... Like a beachy dive should be.

Pelican's Reef is a casual, local restaurant that is not a chain same-stuff food. It has a casual atmosphere, friendly staff, and the seafood is fresh and delicious. The extra surprise is that it is reasonably priced as well. There is a complete menu for those who do not want seafood, but the scallops are to die for.

We went with another couple who had raved about the place. We too, enjoyed it. We had the Sea scallops and they were delicious. I had a twice-baked loaded potato and my wife had the sweet potato fries. Everything was very good. I want to go back again. Very pleasant and fun atmosphere.

The margarita pizza was wonderful and drinks were great price. Ate on Friday night in new upstairs. Atmosphere was great. Waitress a little slow in taking order but after that she was great

Being only a few miles from our house, Pelicans Reef is always a suggestion when we want fresh seafood. There is almost always a wait, but It's generally worth it. The food is very good and the service is usually good as well.

We've enjoyed a few carryout meals from Pelican's Reef so we decided to head there and eat in since some of the specials are only available in the restaurant. The one thing I notice every time I am there is that it is crowded - a good sign. We've enjoyed the salads and the fresh fish - ahi tuna is... More

This is a very popular neighborhood gathering spot that we have tried a number of times over the years. I always keep going back, hoping I will like the food more, but sadly I don't. The atmosphere is great -- casual and relaxed, definitely a fun, island feel -- and always crowded. We were there on a Thursday night and... More

I like the blackened grouper - not too spicy at all, really nice and non greasy. Avoid the place on weekend nights if you don't like crowds.
