Was in Cinci for a conference and Nicholson's was a 5 min walk from the hotel. I always try to frequent pubs wherever I travel and this did not disappoint. Large selection of draft beers, single malts & whiskey. I had a steak with duck fat fries and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly and the place just... More

Arrived in Cincinnati, had dinner next door and strolled over to Nicholson's enticed by the sound of Irish music floating over. Sat down to a pint of the Old Speckled Hen and an 18 yo McCallan and some great regional music from a band called FinTan. The service was friendly and the selection was excellent. We have several UK Pubs... More

Great food, great drinks, right downtown. We ordered a flight of Scotch to see what we liked and had a blast stuffing ourselves with bangers and mash and duck-fat fries.

I'm a fan of old pubs in Europe and this had that feel. Classy place with beautiful woodwork and a great bar, the servers also wear kilts, but I especially enjoyed the selection of European beers on tap. Tried 3 different Scottish beers/ales and will be going back the next time I'm in Cincinnati. Had dinner at the bar from... More

If it's not Scottish it's crap! Or so says the t-shirt, and I agree. This place has tremendous character, a great menu, limited outdoor seating, and good service. Our server Becca was very nice. And let's not forget KILTS! I had the Shepherd's Pie; it was terrific. And for lunch, the prices were very reasonable.

My sister and i found this wonderful pub for lunch. We entered and was greeted by the bartender who immediately started chatting with us and took our drink order. He kept the conversation going until our waitress could take our order . The food arrived quickly and was delicious. A great place to visit! (And if you wear a kilt,... More

The food was very good and the presentation very nice. The fish and chips were very good. Has a different sort of environment - old Irish pub with a very large scotch selection.

Absolutely wonderful atmosphere, great service, unbelievable selection of scotch and bourbon. The pot roast sandwich and fish and chips for lunch were above par, and the sticky toffee pudding is a must! From the manager on duty, to the server and the bartender, everyone was excellent and very enjoyable to chat with. Would love to go back and listen to... More

This is a great establishment for a drink and appetizer in downtown. A must stop for any visitor in the area and well within walking distance from the casino.
