Lovely. Eggs Benedict were wonderful, and the white cheddar grits perfect. Have to say, half way through our brunch , we were making plans to come back!

We recently went to the Rookwood for lunch. I have dined here within the past year and was familiar with their menu. Each time I have enjoyed the unique soups and salads. I love the Root Down salad which is composed of shaved brussels sprout, roasted cauliflower, radish, kale and lemon tahini dressing It has a savory, earthy flavor which... More

I had a out of town guest visiting and wanted her to see Mt. Adams while here. Lunch at the Rookwood was a must and is was a good choice. We both had the soup of the day which was wonderful and I had the 1993 salad and my friend had the Heirloom Beat salad. Both were very good and... More

We had a beautiful day to dine outside to have Sunday Brunch. The fare tended towards Cincinnati favorites, such as goetta. The beet salad was great and the various egg dishes very good. Rookwood Pottery had a factory here at one time and one can see the remnants of that.

We went for a meal on our 2nd anniversary, passing through Ohio on a big USA tour - this was recommended by a local bar owner. We lived the place, a fascinating old building (ex pottery) with a good ambience. The menu was intriguing - an interesting mix of flavours and foods. We appreciated the great service from Patrick, and... More

a somewhat regular spot popular in Mt Adams, that features well done fare that is on the less-adventurous side of creative. Located in the previous rookwood pottery with a nice scene (you can even eat inside a kiln). Well known for serving Jennie's gelato as well as fried bacon and an assortment of pickled goodies (including watermelon skin), you won't... More

The Rookwood served me the best Reuben-esque sandwich I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying! Local pastrami and cauliflower sauerkraut were the two major players - Reuben heaven. One of my friends had the same sandwich and enjoyed it very much also. We had a plethora of appetizers. I especially enjoyed the "dirty olives" with their hint of (star)... More

Came here for a Labor Day party that was a ton of fun, so I won't comment on the food experience because I didn't go for a sit down meal. Their indoor bar is all set around the old kilns, and you can actually sit down with your party in a couple of them! The building itself is up in... More

We had a great experience. Good food and beer. The dessert was tremendous - a flourless chocolate torte with gelato. The inside of the restaurant is really cool. The next time I want sit to outside to see the great view of Cincinnati. We will be back.

Even though the service was "iffy" and the music way too loud for brunch we enjoyed our meal. Great outdoor space and a truly historic venue. We had 4 generations of family there and everyone found something on the trendy menu they liked. I can see that it would be a great night spot (then you can turn the music... More
