Awesome Mixed Drinks

I dined here over the weekend; not only is the food amazing( totally suggest the Barnsdale Burger ) the mixed drink they prepared for us was out of this world! If you get a change to explore the restaurant; it has some awesome history to it. Also check out the view; you can see all of down... read more

The final meal of a weekend getaway with my two adult daughters was at the Rookwood and we were more than pleased. The building perched atop Mt. Adams, overlooking the river to Kentucky, is an old building that housed the Rookwood Pottery. While an old building, it is nicely maintained and has unique features such as dining in the kiln... We recently dined here with friends and it was great. We arrived about an hour early and sat at the bar and had drinks and an appetizer. The bartender was very helpful with suggestions and even personally hand stuffed blue cheese olives for my wife's dirty martini. The service and food was very good with the only exception being the... More

Our son took us here for Fathers Day. Enjoyed the new, innovative menu and variety of small and large plates. The inside of the restaurant has not changed much over the years- dark but cozy, but we sat out on the patio which was very comfortable and offers a nice view. Will go back again.

My experience was alright, not amazing but it was okay. The building is really cool and very historical and the view is beautiful. The food was kind of disappointing, especially considering the price. I had mac and cheese and it was runny and I would not order it again. The special was a cheese burger which two people in my... We had a small family brunch ( party of 8 with reservations) the week after Mother's Day. We were escorted to a large black kiln room that was very bleak and it felt as if we were in dungeon.. After ordering iced tea we had to fetch our own sweetener. When it was time to order after reading the menu... More

We visited here on a Sunday night and were able to sit outside in some unseasonably warm weather. We were in Cincinnati for the Flying Pig running events, and were all hungry after running anywhere from 5 to 26.2 miles that morning and afternoon. Our server was very helpful and fun. It was nice to have the option of getting... More

This place was selected by our local family for lunch. Even before you go in, the scenery surrounding this former pottery factory is a must see. Upon entering you see the grand bar and large kilns. I experienced the craft beers with the help of our waiter, very good. Their salads come in two sizes and were yummy. Their sandwiches... More

I've eaten there three times and had the same experience each time. Maybe I'm a food snob, but when the dessert is inedible it's saying something. First, finding something on the menu to order. I don't like bacon so I am at a disadvantage since everything has bacon. I also find the use of "truffle oil" off putting. There is... More
