We had a great experience. Good food and beer. The dessert was tremendous - a flourless chocolate torte with gelato. The inside of the restaurant is really cool. The next time I want sit to outside to see the great view of Cincinnati. We will be back.

Even though the service was "iffy" and the music way too loud for brunch we enjoyed our meal. Great outdoor space and a truly historic venue. We had 4 generations of family there and everyone found something on the trendy menu they liked. I can see that it would be a great night spot (then you can turn the music... More

Took out of town family members. Great service. Great views. Nice vibe. Wonderful different food. Loved everything. Sat outside. Next time will sit in the kiln.

We stopped on our way home from Florida. I had a Root Down salad which needed A LOT more dressing to stand up to the strength of what was primarily kale. My burger was good, but fries were cold. Thank God we ate outside, because the inside reeked of their filthy carpet. The place just felt dirty and grimy. Would... More

We had a 9 pm reservation and were advised to sit at the inside or outside bar and we'd be notified when our table was ready. I believe we were forgotten and when I checked on the reservation, I was treated very rudly by the host. He advised me that it's not their responsibilty to find me and that I... More

I love Mount Adams - such a lovely neighborhood. The Rookwood is amazing for it's history and ambiance, but the food was just ok. I'd actually give it 3-1/2 stars if I could. We really enjoyed ourselves while there. The service was very good, my bourbon-based cocktails were terrific (and 2 were plenty). The food was fine...but nothing special, which... More

I came with a large family group (called and reserved a kiln for the group to have more intimate dinner) and could not have been more impressed. Our two servers taking care of the group were amazing and attentive, making sure everyone in our group had what they needed. We had a cheese plate, deviled eggs, and bruschetta for apps... More

I wanted to go some place different but really nice after our Father's funeral services. The Rookwood was perfect! They have such a unique place! It once had been a pottery factory & in fact, the huge kilns are still in the building & a part of it all. Each one can be a private dining area ! Love the... More

2 years ago had a great meal. Last week, under new owners, the worst! 'House made pastrami' that appeared to be from a grocery store pkg; fatty and old; discolored that silvery green. With the other 'ingredients' flavor was mush. Server had to explain words that failed to described the dish. OVERPRICED! A medium salad, greens, onion, 'tipsy raisins,' walnuts... More
