Last night, we ate at Nicola's for the first time but it won't be the last. We normally do not eat Italian out of town because Cleveland has outstanding Italian restaurants but we'll be making an exception for this one. The rustic ambiance is charming and although Nicola's is white tablecloth and attentive service, it is not overbearing. Our waiter... More

This is our second visit to this restorante. We love the ambiance. We came to celebrate our anniversary. Our waiter who was from Tuscany, brought warm memories of our recent journey to Italy. He was attentive and brought us champagne to celebrate the evening! The menu is similar to menus you would find in Italy. The bread basket had several... More

Had dinner at this restaurant for a family birthday party. The appetizers are great and creative and the entrees equally delicious. The assortment of breads with the salad course was fantastic. The service was efficient and attentive.

Restaurants deserve several chances. Everyone has a bad night.. Unfortunately, Nicola's was not able to prove itself as a worthwhile dining choice in spite of its venerable reputation. Critics love Nicola's, and certainly the restaurant has all the trappings of a marvelous experience; the decor is attractive with its warm Italian rusticity, the location in Cincinnati's hip & gentrifying Over... Been here many times. Best breadbasket of any restaurant in Cincy hands down and competitive with anywhere. Food is terrific although very rich. They do a great job with seafood including fantastic lobster ravioli.

We ate here with some friends for Valentines weekend. We normally love this place - the presentation of the food and quality and service are always excellent but for some reason it fell a little short of what I remembered from prior visits regarding value. I expected the bill to be about $30 less than it was.

Since we missed Valentine's Day, my husband selected this restaurant for our make-up dinner. We got there before 6 on a Fri night so didn't need reservations (usually required) and were able to find free parking spot on street (valet available). Nice atmosphere, music & wonderful waiter. Handmade breads, and even my pasta dish was handmade and delicious. My husband... More

I went to Nicola's for a business dinner with two colleagues. This was quite possibly the best meal I've ever had, and I've had some pretty good meals! The attention by the wait staff was phenomenal. Pay attention as four servers approach your table from the four corners of the room. It's a work of art! They were more than... More

This is the best Italian food in town. Bring your wallet as it is pricy. Well worth the price. Great for any special occasion.

We had a nice dinner here but it was inconsistent and hence fell a little short of being excellent. Service was top class throughout - attentive but not overbearing. The bread basket with a variety of flatbreads and tasty truffle scented bread was great. The starter was a delicious seared scallops complemented nicely by crispy prosciutto , salsify and a... More
