Good hearty food

Enjoyed the Italian atmosphere and the food was good. A little heavy with the cream in some of the dishes. Also, many items had sugar or a sweetness that I found a little overdone but all in all we enjoyed our meals.

First time here for lunch, did not know this place been around for many years. Looks like lunch menu is dinner menu. Salad, sandwich and pasta dishes. Lunch comes with either soup or salad. Soup is delicious. Italian sandwich is good and serving is quite large. If you order pasta, the chef will cook and you can see it. Good... More

The atmosphere is quaint. In fact the pasta cook is situated right near the dining tables. This creates a great ambiance but it also emits a lot of garlic smell immediately in the area. The menu is simple, mostly pasta dishes. The wine menu is limited. It all makes decision making pretty easy. The food quality is certainly good.

Delicious local Italian joint. Simple menu with perfect choices. The artichoke dip never disappoints. I've had numerous entrees and all have been beautifully prepared in front of us. The desserts are scrumptious as well. If you're visiting Cincy, make sure to check out this district and this restaurant.

We have eaten here many times, usually after seeing a movie at the Esquire Theater. The food is always delicious and the portions generous. The house Chianti is quite good. The servers are friendly and the atmosphere is warm and intimate. As musicians, we really appreciate the background music (opera, Sinatra, etc.).

Following the movie at the nearby Esquire Theater, my wife and I dropped in for a meal. It was getting late for full portions, so we split a "Pesto Pasta with Chicken" entrée, and ordered a second house salad as a side order. The homemade Fettuccini pasta was surrounded by the creamy sauce consisting of garlic, parmesan, basil and generous... More

Biagio's is always reliable. The owner (Biagio himself) knows how to make pasta and sauces, and does a fine job, right before your eyes. I like something lighter -- a salad, with a nice-sized slab of tilapia on it. Whatever you get is good, solid Italian food. It's great before a movie at the Esquire.

While I have never eaten a meal here, we stop in regularly to get dessert after a movie or just because. They have all been quite good. It is in the Ludlow Gaslight District, which is very nice. They make the food right in the restaurant, and the garlic smell is somewhat intoxicating.

Five of us ate there. Three of us were dissatisfied. I'd be forgiving if it were just one. I'd be forgiving if it were a mistake in the kitchen--like undercooked steak. (Then I'd consider sending the food back so they could have a chance to get it right.). But these were just three supremely flavorless and uninteresting dishes: seafood al... More
