We are from out of town and like to explore new places. This was a local spot in the gaslight district which is very quaint. It was a Tuesday at 9:00 pm but we were net with an extremely friendly warm server . The wine was smooth, and they have a wide selection. I ordered the Greek salad and fettuccine... More

Excellent service, very accommodating for our large party, good food at reasonable prices. A nice neighborhood spot and great for pre or post movie dining.

I have been here before, and have found it to be a lovely Italian restaurant. Feels like a small business type of restaurant; it's very quaint and cozy inside. On this occasion, I took 8 of my out-of-town friends here for lunch. We were a large group, but the restaurant was very kind in accommodating our group. Everyone was satisfied... More

We tried this restaurant on the recommendation of a local shop owner and were not dissappointed. We came in on a Saturday night at about 8:30 and were seated right away although it did take some time for our server to arrive. He was busy finishing up with a large party though so once they cleared out the service was... More

Wonderful casual Italian bistro with the chef right there on the premises making your meal. Delicious classics and some unique twists. Also some non italian offerings for those not crazy about pasta - or meat. Recently I was there for lunch with a large group and the service was very attentive. Everyone raved about their choices which ranged from salads... More

We always eat at Biagio's when we go to the movies in Clifton. We usually share the Boscaiola because the portion is generous. Biagio is a great cook and he has taught his son to follow in his footsteps. The service is always good and the servers very friendly. Of course, the chocolate cake is pretty good too!

A neighborhood bistro that in Rome would probably be a trattoria; welcoming, familiar with food that reflects the owner's tastes and generous skills. Biagio probably is cooking for you; you can watch. Good service. Check the desserts as you enter to decide whether to leave room.

Four of us ate dinner here on a Wednesday night. The waitress was welcoming, and she made sure our drinks were filled. The chef cooks in an open kitchen. One entree order was incorrect when she delivered it to the table, but our waitress immediately and quickly corrected it. My chicken scallopini was delicious. The portions were huge. Overall, a... This restaurant in the past has been a favorite, but last night was a disappointment. I have to agree with one of the other reviewers who mentioned school paste. We had the seafood alfredo which in the past has been my all time favorite, BUT school paste or perhaps biscuit gravy from Bob Evans was my comment last night. Hey... More

This is a must eat place if you love real Italian food. The food is not mass produced like the chain restraunts, everything is homemade and the staff treat you like family. We've lived in Chicago, traveled to Italy multiple times and are used to really good Italian food. The only down side is a lack of Gluten Free food,... More
