Excellent food and service

Went to the restaurant for Valentine's Day, and it was probably the best visit I have had. I had the barrel cut filet mignon. My partner had the New York Strip. We got a side of Potatoes Anna, which were sort of like scalloped potatoes, and broccoli. The potatoes were very greasy, but that's... read more

If your idea of great steak is fluff and show, this is your spot. If you want a real filet, keep on looking. More hype than reality in our opinions. But what the heck do I know? Mac and cheese was highlight, and it was great. But that does not bode well for a steakhouse, the steakhouse in Cincy. We... More

Was taken here on a night out with a friend's family. The food was simply delicious. Succulent (I just love that word, don't you?) cuts of meat, cooked to perfection. I passed by this restaurant many a time during my stay in Cincy, and WOW, I'm so glad I was able to go. Some Cincinnatians took me, and they have... More

We chose Jeff Rubys Steakhouse to celebrate an anniversary. The service was great, oh waiter was very attentive. The rest of the wait staff kept our tables cleared and drinks filled without any request. Now, I'm not a steak eater - but the other 3 people at the table ordered steak and enjoyed it but my boyfriend preferred our local... More

Beautiful restaurant with great steakhouse menu. Attentive service. Has very much of a local vibe making it authentic vs. the chain steakhouses like the Capital Grill's of the world...which are fine too but in a different kind of way. When in town definitely go. We've been their twice and its on our rotation for when we visit our daughter. Helpful... More

My wife and I have been on a steak kick, lately, especially dry aged. Although we had a first class steak in Dallas, two nights later we were ready for another! I looked on Open Table and found Jeff Ruby's in Cincinnati but the only available times were 5:00 and 9:30. We were thinking we might not arrive in time... More

Decided to take our teens here for a special Christmas dinner. From start to finish it was wonderful. We all had steaks. I had the filet the rest had the New York strip. The salads are delicious. The steaks are delicious. The potatoes are delicious. My daughter grinned from ear to ear when she saw the large bowl of mashed... More

Atmosphere, Service, Entertainment, and OMG the food! I attended this great restaurant on a Saturday evening for a romantic date night! We were blown away by the experience. Our reservation was set for 10pm but we arrived early so we sat in the bar area. To our delight the band that plays was amazing. Our server was amazing, informative on... More

Crab cakes This is one of the restaurants whatever you order it is to die for. Let us not forget their mushroom butter.... Just eat and enjoy and repeat!
