Great as always

The Jeff Ruby family of restaurants remains the defacto destination of choice for steaks in the greater Cincinnati area. They have the best beef, great service and a memorable dining experience every time you go.

What more can I say? From the atmosphere, to the service, to the food, everything was exceptional. And I was surprised to learn that if you don't see what you want on the menu, simply call a couple of days ahead, tell them what you want, and they will make it for you. How many places will do that??? The... More

I LOVE Jeff Ruby's restaurants. This one is probably the most expensive, but the unique atmosphere, amazing menu, and attentive staff make it all worth it! The Freddie salad is a MUST (if you like bacon), the mashed potatoes are divine and any steak is awesome (I prefer the filet). Any dessert is worth the indulgence, but the creme brulee,... More

I have been there only once but it was a good evening. Service was great, food was delicious. The only thing I can say in the negative was that it was pricey. Fortunately I was a guest of someone and didn't foot that bill since it was a tad out of my league. Example: This was about 4 years ago... More

Nice atmosphere, good menu variety, slightly pricey for what you get. Bread and unsalted butter were tasteless, scallops were tough, filet cut steak was dry but had a flavorful crust. Waiter was not on top of drink refills. Chicken was very undercooked. It was taken off the bill after we pointed it our. Waiter said "yeah, I noticed that" and... More

This is the second time I have tried a Jeff Ruby Steakhouse. I ate a their KY location a few years back. Not impressed with this location as well. Both locations had sub-par service and the food is average at best. Maybe I am spoiled by some of the steakhouses in Chicago. If you are going to pay that much... More

Great dinner on a Saturday night. Steaks were big and delicious. We both opted to get blue cheese and onions on steaks which are both ample portions. Creamy spinach side was delightful and definitely big enough to split. The wedge salad was delicious with a nice extra kick of spice, but more of a portion for one person and just... More

Not the first time I've been here and won't be the last. There is nothing bad on the entire menu! If you want a steak in Cincy, you go to Ruby's!

This is a high-end restaurant. Very classy crowd. You can wear tux here and still feel very comfortable. My wife and saw several ladies wearing evening gowns. Great place to bring clients or guest. The service is attentive and the food is amazing. It is one of "the" places to have dinner in Cincinnati. They have a cigar bar here.... More

Went to the restaurant for Valentine's Day, and it was probably the best visit I have had. I had the barrel cut filet mignon. My partner had the New York Strip. We got a side of Potatoes Anna, which were sort of like scalloped potatoes, and broccoli. The potatoes were very greasy, but that's what actually made them so good.... More
