Beautiful to look at, but still left hungry

Went during Restaurant Week (3 courses for $45) -- also did the wine pairing ($21). First off, the good: Service was exceptional. The Maitre D was on point, and our server (Chris) was warm, engaging, and very knowledgeable. The food was absolutely stunning. Art on a plate. It simply... read more

In Cincinnati, there are a lot of really fabulous restaurants, but only a few that successfully couple exceptional food with the lovely and attentive fine dining experience. And the Palace Restaurant at the Cincinnatian Hotel is one of the few that does it so superbly!!! The menu does not adequately describe the delicious course offerings. The Strawberry Watermelon gazpacho was... More

We were there for afternoon tea years ago, and had a great experience. Today, not so much. Our two course tea consisted of 'tea sandwiches' (which were really 2" squares of bread, not sandwiches at all); tuna salad, chicken salad, and cucumber. Good, but nothing to write home about. A triangle of bread with egg salad on it - that... More

Had the basic bacon and egg dish. The food was excellent but it took a long time. Will try again sometime.

We stayed at the Cincinnatian and had Brunch Sunday Morning at the Palace restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly the bacon was great and the homemade doughnuts were amazing and huge portions seriously if you go be sure to get the doughnuts even if you get nothing else.

The food served here is just incredible. Their menu changes all the time so you never know what you will be able to pick but almost always it is wonderful. They really know how to cater to your every whim also!

I was given a gift certificate for my birthday to the Palace restaurant for a Sunday Brunch which starts at 11a.m. I had been to the Palace for lunch before but never brunch. They had pineapple juice which was a treat. The omelet with crispy bacon, mushrooms and Swiss was very good except I didn't expect a whole roasted garlic... More

This is a fine dining restaurant, so the idea is to order the 5 course dinner, and do some wine pairings between courses. The menu is seasonal, innovative and delicious; however, do not expect large portions. You will be full by the end of the evening, but it will take over 2 hours. Menu items of note are the beef... We loved our exceptional coffee, light and fluffy waffles, and perfectly-cooked eggs. The bacon was cooked just right--crispy and flavorful. Our server was very attentive, which we greatly appreciated. We highly recommend the Palace for breakfast.
