The food here was very good and well presented. I went for lunch with a business associate and there was hardly a soul there. I thought the service would be a bit faster, but it took nearly 30 minutes for the server to deliver the sandwiches we ordered. Lunch for 2 with an appetizer was $60. A bit overpriced, I... More

We did the a la carte so that I could eat more. Everything was fantastic expect the braised short rib. King crab salad was awesome, center cut strip perfect medium with the "Benedict" twist and asparagus was my favorite. The halibut was a close second though. The foie gras ice cream... Interesting but not my thing. I tried the corn... More

We had a bridal shower brunch. The decorations were very nice and made for a pretty, art deco feel. The coffee was hot and strong enough. The doughnuts were very good. My breakfast tacos were average. The blood mary was not my favorite (a little weak on the flavor and watery). Unfortunately the service is what really was disappointing. We... More

The staff at The Palace are absolutely on top of their game, taking service as a career and not a job. Bringing my 7 year old to such a fine dining restaurant could have gone very awry, but, the staff treated him well and made sure he didn't get bored. The small bites sent out in between meals were an... More

In Cincinnati, there are a lot of really fabulous restaurants, but only a few that successfully couple exceptional food with the lovely and attentive fine dining experience. And the Palace Restaurant at the Cincinnatian Hotel is one of the few that does it so superbly!!! The menu does not adequately describe the delicious course offerings. The Strawberry Watermelon gazpacho was... More

We were there for afternoon tea years ago, and had a great experience. Today, not so much. Our two course tea consisted of 'tea sandwiches' (which were really 2" squares of bread, not sandwiches at all); tuna salad, chicken salad, and cucumber. Good, but nothing to write home about. A triangle of bread with egg salad on it - that... More

Went during Restaurant Week (3 courses for $45) -- also did the wine pairing ($21). First off, the good: Service was exceptional. The Maitre D was on point, and our server (Chris) was warm, engaging, and very knowledgeable. The food was absolutely stunning. Art on a plate. It simply invited you to take a photo of it, and there were... More

Had the basic bacon and egg dish. The food was excellent but it took a long time. Will try again sometime.

We stayed at the Cincinnatian and had Brunch Sunday Morning at the Palace restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. Everything we ordered was fantastic. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly the bacon was great and the homemade doughnuts were amazing and huge portions seriously if you go be sure to get the doughnuts even if you get nothing else.
