The diner is quite small, but we've never had a problem getting a table. It's a typical old-style quirky diner. The service was good, not great, just good. The servers are efficient but I wouldn't say they are all that warm and friendly. The menu offers so many great breakfast options. I really enjoyed the Sweet Potato Waffles and the... More

Their wispy-thin pancakes are delicious. The other options are good, not overwhelmingly delicious. If you go on a Sunday, expect to wait.

I don't understand what the hype is about either.Sent my eggs back because they were cooked wrong and tasted funny. Owner came out and argued with me about it. Said i hurt the cooks feelings! REALLY? Wispy thin pancackes were awful. I can make better ones at home. Sorry Sugar and Spice but its not all that. No desire to... More

Disappointed. I don't think I understand what the hype is about. We drove 30 minutes to try this place. Nothing wrong with it, but nothing good either. Just average. We got the pancakes - their specialty. Taste just like pancakes I make at home. Coffee is normal - like folgers or something. Bacon wasn't tasty. Service was average, at best.... More

Can't believe I have lived here all my life and just found out about it. We did have to wait a while to be seated and to get our food, but that is because the place is so popular. Great pancakes, friendly staff. Can't wait to come back and try a different menu item.

My girlfriend and I came here for brunch and it was an amazing meal. They seated us in a cute love seat and we ordered away! I got the slaughterhouse five which satisfied my carnivorous side and my girlfriend got pancakes and all so delicious! This place has tons of cute old school toys on display and the owner came... At sugar and spice. I am not sure what happened during our visit. We sat down at the counter and waited way too long. People who came in after us-finished their food...and we had not even been served. Terrible experience and I had heard so many good things. It was my nieces birthday celebration and it spoiled the meal. So... More

Such a great atmosphere...vibrant and busy. Was a great first experience and we will be back! Seems so much like an old neighborhood cafe with the people and food you hope for. Definitely recommend this place!

We have had the platters, the pancakes and omelettes. Always delicious!!! Get there early for faster seating. This place is starting to become a Saturday morning family tradition!
