We walked into this place and it had an amazing authentic 50s classic feel. Although in some areas it had wear and tear... it only added to the charm. I struggled ordering as there were many great things to pick from. When we got our 3 flavor with carmel and marshmallow I was blown away. Fantastic stop... try it

We stopped here after hearing about it on an Npr episode. This is such a throw back in time. What a treat, an old fashioned type fountain ice cream shop. They bring you menus and have waitstaff. I had a French vanilla hot fudge sundae which was amazing. The ice cream tastes truly homemade. Everything is served in silver bowls.... More

One phrase says it all: ice cream made the old fashioned way. Seriously, good ice cream and you could definitely palm it off as home made in the best sense of the word. I think the best flavor is their banana. Fresh frozen taste of bananas, cream, and vanilla. It is a step back in time as you enter the... More

My family and I ate here for dessert and it was excellent. We looked on Tripadvsor to find something other than our usual Greaters! We found this place on Madison Rd, right next to a really cool book store, the Blue Manatee. My ice cream sandwich was excellent, I had pecan vanilla between two chocolate like wafers!! Really good!! My... More

The other flavors do not disappoint. We love this delightful ice cream parlor with friendly service, delicious ice cream, and those silver dishes! So sorry we live hundreds of miles away.

Aglamesis Brothers have the best ice cream ever. Much better than Graeters. The handmade candy is yum.

Most Cincinnatians debate the best ice cream in the city between Graeter's and UDF. That's probably because there's no debate about Aglamesis. This isn't just ice cream: it's pure, frozen, sugary love. Not to mention Aglamesis hand made chocolate desserts and other non-ice cream fare. UDF is convenient. Graeter's has achieved commercial success and is even exporting their ice cream... More

I honestly have visited here more than Greater's Ice cream. This is not the huge place neither have been so crowed (based on my experience). However, they are nice and friendly, as well as the great selection of the ice cream. I usually visit with my family and kids. All of them love this places~

The store is very interesting. The ice cream is average at best. The chocolate is poor to average at best. I think if people were honest about the flavor of the ice cream and chocolate and not falling in love with the building they would not rate the sweets so highly. Graeter's is far superior. Aglamesis was a huge disappointment.... More
