We were in Cincinnati for two days and after finding this place on TripAdvisor we had to try it. Oh. My. Goodness. Cutest little shop, cutest neighborhood, friendliest staff! We walked in expecting a lunch counter, and received several recommendations from the three people working. Went with one they mentioned and it was great! Came back to Algamesis Brothers for... More

Lived in Cinti for 30 yrs and now live in TX but there's nothing like their ice cream and their Easter candy! LOVE their malt marshmellow and caramarsh eggs! My adult kids still expect Aglamesis Brothers' chocolates for Easter!

Visited Aglamesis brothers in Oakley recently and tried their famous french quarter Sunday it's huge but with a hefty price tag but well worth it if you have a sweet tooth and a willing to share it with others. There ice cram is home made daily and their chocolate candies made weekly. I told them to add Carmellows to their... More

Aglamesis is where we go for ice cream, bar none. Their black raspberry is superb, like fresh fruit with cream. But what we really go for is their dark chocolate nonpareils. I get my husband a pound for his birthday every year. I took a box to a friend in Milan who swore she'd never had better anywhere in Europe.... More

The Good: locally made candy and ice cream, antique decor, large portions, fast service, old fashioned items (malts, etc), longstanding business. The Bad: calories? This is a local legend with a huge menu. Everything is delicious and there are items you just can't find in other places. It's like you stepped back in time to an old fashioned ice cream... More

We always enjoy Aglamesis, even in cold winter days. Friendly service, good ice cream, great own made chocolate. Better than Graters that the locals consider for some reason as a good ice cream. Try the orange peel covered chocolate. Fun.

This place is awesome. The decor is amazing (and 'original'), the chocolates are great, and a huge selection, and the ice-cream is fantastic. We had a small sundae and shared a phosphate (the vanilla) and it was like stepping back in time--even the sundae was served in a metal ice cream bowl. Everyone loves Graeters in Ohio, but this whole... More

This place is out of the past with beautiful Tiffany lamps. Everyone that works there is so helpful and friendly. My visit before last I met Mr. A. Himself. He is so nice. Their ice cream is amazing served in frozen chilled silver dishes. Their candy is all delicious just what you would expect 50 years ago or more. Please... More

Aglamesis is a darling ice cream parlor. You are waited on tableside at marble bistro tables. Your ice cream is brought to you in silver dishes along with a glass of water (in an actual glass, no plastic). Very yesteryear with lots of charm. The ice cream is delicious--we had some of the seasonal flavors as well. A must in... More
