I went to this restaurant yesterday. Though the food was good the service left a very sour taste to my mouth. When I was ordering my food the waitress kept asking me to repeat what I wanted, and she told me "Sir, you accent if too thick, I can't understand." I have lived in the US for the last 24... More

My wife and I have been to the Boathouse twice in the last two months. After our first visit, I didn't plan to return, but we were with another couple recently, and they wanted to go there. Disappointing food each time. My brisket was dry each time, and my wife pulled pork was bland. Putting aside the food, the interior... More

We went despite differing references. It ended up being a waste of time and money. The ribs were nothing special and a bit fatty. I would imagine we were paying for the location which was nice: right on the river. The view was why we decided to go. I was told it was great and then heard from someone else... More

The last time was actually this month for a work party. The room was far too small, the service was pretty bad (one of my coworkers had a plate of ribs dropped on him, many orders were wrong, people were told to just eat what they were served etc.) and I'm not a huge fan of the food. The food:... More

Top notch food and great atmosphere combine to make a great option for any hungry diner. You cannot go wrong wih a visit to either he Boathouse on the Ohio river or the original Inn in Montgomery. The ribs are great, the Saratoga chips yummy, and the bartenders generous.

Went to Montgomery Inn with family while visiting Cincinnati. I had ribs, which were excellent. The dinner combination was an excellent value.

My husband really likes their barbecue chicken. I like their onion straws (I'm a vegetarian)! The downtown location called The Boathouse is great for special occasions. This location is just east of DT on the river, with great river views! It's also got a nice bar with free popcorn while you wait for your reservation. Yes, you will need a... More
