I have been at 'The Camp' many times for lunch. It is a hot stop for many business people in the downtown and Queensgate/Camp Washington area. It is very good Cincinnati Style chili. There are other menu options available....but I have honestly never tried them...I go there for the famous chili. The original owner is still on premises and the... More

We drive here from West Chester just to get some good chili. They use good cheese and hot dogs in the coneys are not hard and overcooked like competitors. Buns are soft and fresh.

Could possibly be classified as a bit of a shady area, moreso later at night but a neat place inside with good chili. I did the 5 way chili with noodles meat beans cheese onions. Just a little spiciness to give it a nice little kick. A slight sweetness flavor that I really enjoyed also.

We were told that if you want authentic Cincy Chili...go to Camp Washington. I was totally impressed with our service. Our waitress noticed our southern accents and immediately offered to give us a sample of the chili before we ordered. She was very informative about the restaurant and the history. When we checked out, the it was one of the... More

We've been eating at Camp Washington for years and it's my family's favorite. We stopped at the old restaurant after the 1990 Reds World Series victory and have been coming back ever since. The atmosphere is one-of-a-kind and the chili is fantastic.

Stopped in for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and got the usual's; cheese coney and onion rings. Very good! Service was a little slow and waitress seemed to be distant and not very interested. Observed other waitresses and the seemed fine. Attentive to their customers. Must have just had a bad one.

Went for lunch today with my husband and grandaughter. The meal was delicious and the service was fantastic. We had 3 ways, juicy. We each ordered a coney as well . Everything was fresh. The only ones that had left overs was our 1 year old granddaughter, that's because the children's menu hotdog comes with 2 hot dogs and fries... More

We were told we had to try Cincinnati Chili and this place was recommended by one of the locals - the place is new but looks like a step back in time. The owner and waitress were more than just friendly, prices are right, food is very good but limited menu. The chili is not your usual chili - not... More

If you're not familiar with "Cincinnati" style food, then Camp Washington is a good benchmark for you to compare all others to. They've got all of the staples: Coneys, 3-4-5 ways, chili, and double deckers. It is very convenient to I-75, with a bright and clean old school diner interior, and the service is fast. Prices are really good too.... More

This Cincinnati landmark has served an uncountable number of patrons for decades. From cut-off shorts to business suits, CWC is visited by folks that appreciate good chili and their double decker sandwiches. Open 24 hours a day, it is a great place in central Cincinnati to grab that start your day breakfast or to satisfy that late night craving for... More
