Description: The heritage of Cincinnati's storied brewing history comes alive along the banks of the Ohio River at this world-class restaurant and brewery. Prominently situated in the dynamic Smale Riverfront Park, the Moerlein Lager House offers a guest experience unlike any other—a working microbrewery producing a full line of Moerlein craft brews, and delectable fare featuring grain spent breads, hand-carved sandwiches, and smoked rotisserie meats… foods reminiscent of those served in the city’s celebrated 19th century beer gardens.

It's time for Moerlein's finest beer to be on tap, that would be Saengerfest, a Maibock, as delicious as ever. This large casual-themed restaurant is efficiently operated and its kitchen continues to turn out terrific food from and across an ambitious menu. We had a recent dinner on the lower level at a river-view table with an outstanding waiter, Zach!... More

This was a fun place to eat. There was food to please anyone's tastes! Seafood, Ribs, Meatloaf, Chicken, Steaks, Pork...and our group of six tried six different entrees and there were raves from each of us! Several of our group tried different Lagers, and they really enjoyed their choices. The location next to the Red's stadium is very easy to... More

The beer is great. the service was outstanding. The food was really solid. they took the Ahi Tuna Sandwich off the menu which was a mistake, but there are still plenty of strong items that remain.

Situated between ballpark and stadium. Atmosphere was impressive. Large beer selection and full bar available. Pretzel appetizer was delicious but pork chop was tough. Manager came out and offered something different but pretzel was filling. I appreciated the attempt to make it right.

Enjoyed the view and the atmosphere - nice if there's a game or not. The food is reasonable and above average. I had the soup and brats for lunch - it was very good, the sausages are from a local vendor. My friend had a short rib grilled cheese - he said it was wonderful. It looked wonderful. Excellent beer... More

We went here then night before a game at the Great American Ballpark, we called ahead and made reservations, 12of us at one time ,right before the game. We got seated right away, great server, great service, after ordering the manager came over to the table and told us that they don't normally take reservations the nights before the game,... More

Went there for a business dinner, and it was getting crowded. They have an excellent beer selection, and the appetizers were good. However, the main food was fair. My pork chop was tough, and those getting beef were thankful they ordered medium, since it looked very red to me, and I like it on the medium rare side. Will go... More

We came the Saturday before the Flying Pig Marathon. There was a band playing in a nearby park. We sat on the patio upstairs with great views of the Ohio River, bridges, and the Reds Stadium. Love the beer! Nice menu selection. I had the Squash Wellington -yum! We had a great server... Zack or Jack.

We attended a wedding reception here, and were pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere, the location, the food and the drinks selection. Didn't know what to expect, having a wedding reception at a brewery, but found they really did have a terrific private space, with great views, service was terrific, the buffet meal was outstanding, everything you could ask for. The... More
