Taste of Belgium serves Belgian food with a twist. If it's not Belgian, we "Belgianize" it. We serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and one-of-a-kind weekend brunch. We have a full bar and a wide selection of Belgian beers on draft and in bottle. And we serve the absolute best waffles.

Best waffle on the planet!

Planned to come here for breakfast while in town with some friends, but after calling to see if there was a wait and being told it would be at least 1.5 hours til we'd be seated, we came later in the afternoon and were able to get right in at some seats at the bar. We planned to get some... read more

Let's start with the most sought after menu option, the chicken and waffle. The waffle is very stiff, so hard in fact that I felt like it was going to fly across the room when I was cutting it. The chicken is drenched in hot sauce, however the crunchy texture is nice. All of the waffles with fruit toppings are... More

I'm not huge on southern food but the chicken & waffles are incredible. Also, the beer cheese and pretzels are a great starter... just save room for your main! Got in here quicker than most OTR spots too... the bar left a bit to be desired, but go for the food. You won't regret it!

We arrived around 11 and there was already a long wait for brunch. We ended up leaving and coming back around 1 and got in no problem. We just had waffles which were great. All of the other food that went past looked tasty. We'll definitely be going back to try some of their other menu items next time we're... More

I'm sorry, but Food Network fame aside, the waffle was the worst of my life: Cold, hard, and nearly as dense as a shortbread cookie? What the heck? That said, my wife's baguette with smoked salmon was perfection. Good service, good coffee, but skip the waffles. Not worth a serious wait.

First time for breakfast. My husband enjoyed the smoked salmon baguette, I had the lavender and lemon curd crepes, and our daughters the Belgian waffles with creme and strawberries. The coffee reminded me of the years we lived in Europe. What a lovely morning!

This visit was during lunch time, which has a lot smaller menu then I am used to. I had the chicken and waffles. I thought it was pretty good. The prices are reasonable. The only thing keeping this from a 4 or 5 star is because the service kind of sucks. They are so busy that they just want to... More

Well worth the wait. Had the fabulous cheese sandwich. Tasty ham inside with three cheeses and an awesome sauce.

We sampled their famous "chicken and waffles" dish while at the Hyde Park Blast last year but never dined at the restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the ample space and lack of noise compared to the other OTR hot spots. Moreover, the interior truly mimics a European cafe. Talk about taking a mini-trip to Brussels! I recommend the veggie... More

Both the restaurant's name and TripAdvisor rating brought up in as visitors to the Cincy area. At first, we were a tad concerned...the location is definitely urban, and, frankly, a rougher part of town than we would normally want to go. We would not want to go there after dark. That said, we're not urbanites, so perhaps we're just not... More
